The Typhoon's Dangerous Wife

Chapter 265 - Xiuying's Position In Ryuu's Life.

"It seems like it will rain today," Xiuying said, still pressed against him.

"It won't," Ryuu said and glanced at her. Ming Xiuying quickly retracted. She couldn't believe that she just threw herself at her newly found husband.

'What would he think of you Xiuying?'

'Stupid! So stupid!'

"It's just a reminder from my mom," Ryuu muttered.

"Did you say something about your mom?" The curious Ming Xiuying asked. She swore she heard him muttering.

"No," Ryuu said coldly. He gave her a look which scared her. "My mom is dead, Xiuying. I don't talk about my parents. And as for my family, you have already met them."

Ming Xiuying nodded.

"Get in the car," Ryuu asked her.

Inside the car, Ming Xiuying nervously sat beside Ryuu. He removed his sunglasses, and she looked at his chiseled face again. This man was a beauty and there was no denying it.

'How would I live with a man I have no romantic feelings for? At least, he is good-looking!'

"Did you send her back already?" Ryuu asked the driver when he noticed that he was the same driver from before.

"Lord, she ordered me to drop her at Miss Fan's and then leave," the driver answered.

Ryuu massaged his forehead. Something was not right with that girl today. He wondered if someone did something to piss her off.

He turned his head to find Ming Xiuying staring at him nervously.

"Do I make you nervous?" Ryuu directly asked him.

"N-No--" Ming Xiuying averted looking into his sharp brown eyes. His presence was overwhelming and so was his question gaze.

Ryuu held her chin with his index finger and made her stare at him. He said in a raspy voice, "I don't like people lying to me, Xiuying. I never lie so I demand the same in return. If I ask you a question, you are supposed to answer it honestly."

Ming Xiuying took a deep breath and spoke in a soft voice, "To be honest, I don't know what I'm to you or what you're to me." She paused for a moment to search for anger or resentment on his face, but she found nothing except curiosity or perhaps amusement dancing in those chilly brown eyes. She continued," It's so sudden for me. I know nothing about you. Mr. Tang, were you forced to marry me? Probably, you already had somebody in your life before my arrival. I don't want to be left in darkness. If you like someone else, then please tell me the truth beforehand. So, I don't have to suffer again."

Ryuu was staring at the young girl who was now his legally wedded wife wondering how someone could have such a vivid imagination?

However, he still replied to her questions.

"You're Mrs. Tang now, Xiuying. Insecurity and nervousness don't suit your position. We have signed marriage certificates and so, you know better than anyone else what we are to each other," Ryuu answered her. "As for me being forced to marry you, tell me Xiuying, who in this realm will force me to marry you? I haven't loved anyone as much as I loved my dead mother, but even she is not capable of forcing me to marry you. I have my reasons for marrying you just like you have yours. And as for the woman before you, I wasn't a Saint. I'll not let you suffer Xiuying as long as you are a good wife, and the mistress of the Tang household."

He paused and looked at her again, "Do you have any other questions?"

"Who is the woman you were talking about?"

Ryuu laughed." Zhenyi. She accompanied me but refused to come out."

"Oh!" Xiuying was confused with how his sharp eyes turned into doting all of a sudden.

"An advice Xiuying, don't get on her bad side. She protects her family fiercely."

"Zhenyi! Please listen to me!"

Zhenyi, who was staring at Fan Bingbing wide-eyed, took a step backward while shaking her head. She couldn't believe that her friend would one day lie to her. She didn't just lie to her, she broke her heart.

"Please, Zhenyi. Let me explain!" Fan Bingbing was begging her to stay but Zhenyi has already exited her door.

"You lied to me, Bingbing," Zhenyi said in a whisper. "I have never that one day you would break my heart like this."

Zhenyi still couldn't believe what she heard a few minutes ago.

"Please, Zhenyi…" Fan Bingbing was begging her.

Zhenyi laughed like a lunatic. "Bingbing, you don't regret what you did, do you?" Seeing Fan Bingbing's red eyes, she knew that she didn't regret even a bit. Realization dawned upon her. "Does my Bà know?" Tell me does Bà know…"

Fan Bingbing bit her lip.

"Of course, he knows…" Zhenyi said as tears leaked from the side of her eye. "He told you not to inform me, didn't he?"

"Zhenyi, you are hurt, that's why you can't think straight. Why don't you come in--"

Zhenyi shook her head. There was no way she was forgiving any of them. "No, I'm leaving."

She kept walking and refused to look back. At the same time, Fan Bingbing ran inside to call someone. She didn't know who she should call right now -- Long Jie or Xin Yichen.

As she was about to press the dial button, she heard Zhenyi's numb voice. "Inform anyone that I know everything, and see how we won't have anything to do with each other."

"Zhenyi--"

"Just one question, does my husband know about it?" Zhenyi asked her.

Fan Bingbing shook her head. "I don't think so. Please, Zhenyi come inside. I'm begging you. Let me take care of you. I won't mind if you curse me or even shoot me. Please just come inside."

Zhenyi chuckled bitterly. "You get to hide the biggest truth of my life, and I don't deserve some alone time? It's suffocating, Bingbing. All I feel inside is a never-ending numbness. Please, leave me alone. This time I beg of you to leave me alone."

"Ask my shadow guards not to follow me, otherwise I won't be very forgiving." Zhenyi's last words had horrified Fan Bingbing. She dared not to take her words lightly. Deep down, she knew that her friend would never forgive her. She was petty when it came to holding grudges.
