"Do you miss me?" Zhenyu said as she slid into the seat next to Long Jie.

Long Jie had his eyes narrowed at his shameless wife. What a crafty woman! Look at her being so coy and innocent.

Zhenyi raised her brow anticipating the answer.

"I did," Long Jie answered a resigned sigh.

"It hurts my heart to see my Angel ignoring me," Ryuu said while feigning hurt. "Girls sure forget their family after marrying."

Zhenyi feigned a gasp and glanced at Long Jie, wide-eyed. "You invited a guest? How come I never noticed before?"

Long Jie's lips twitched but he chose to be a party in Zhenyi's play."Because like always I had all of your attention."

Zhenyi laughed as she threw her arms around Long Jie and snuggled in his embrace.

"Am I not forgiven yet?"Ryuu asked his sister. Who did not know how petty she was!

"Were you wrong? Did you commit a mistake? Do you think for a moment how much your lie was hurting my husband? Do you justify your actions? Should I forgive you?" Zhenyi fired questions after questions. From their interaction, Long Jie could say that both of them were related to each other. It was not every day you get to see a doting expression in Lord Tang's eyes.

"You know I will never hurt him or you?"Ryuu said to his sister. "Even if I hurt you in any way, I sincerely apologize. But sometimes we have to give smaller sacrifices for bigger gains. Just trust me this once, Angel."

Zhenyi had no words to say to Ryuu. She was his beloved sister. She couldn't choose one between these two men.

"If my husband forgives you, I will have no qualms against you," said Zhenyi as she crossed her arms over her chest.

Ryuu shifted his eyes from Zhenyi to Long Jie.

"I'm not angry with him, "Long Jie said softly. "I have known him for many years, Zhenyi. If he chose this path, there must be some reasons behind it. Moreover, he is my brother and I trust him the most."

"You can't call him brother anymore, "Zhenyi shrieked, surprising both of the men.

"Why is that?"Both of them asked simultaneously.

"Because he is only my brother, "Zhenyi said, shocking Long Jie. "You know Long Jie, I love you the most. But I can't share Ryuu with you. At most he can be your brother-in-law or best friend. No sworn brother. Nothing."

"Zhenyi!" Ryuu groaned.

"Shut up," Zhenyi threw a glare at her brother and looked at her husband tenderly."Okay, baby?"

"Sure, honey. But first, tell me why I should not call him brother?" Long Jie asked him.

"Because he is my brother, "Zhenyi answered.

"Half brother? Stepbrother?"Long Jie inquired quickly.

"How about I tell you a story?" Zhenyi offered and Long Jie scowled at her. However, he didn't stop her from telling the story.

"Once upon a time, there was a spoiled princess--"

"Don't call her a spoiled princess," Ryuu chided Zhenyi.

"Once upon a time, there was a stubborn princess--"

"You can't call mom spoiled and stubborn, Angel," Ryuu again reprimanded Zhenyi.

"Ryuu!!"

Long Jie had a headache seeing the two most important people of his life glaring at each other. Sigh. Life is so hard. He still couldn't understand how both of them were related to each other.

"Zhenyi! Brother!--"

"Don't call him brother."

"Handle your wife, Ah-Jie."

"Keep quiet both of you," said Long Jie in a thundering voice. He shifted his gaze to Ryuu and said, "Let her finish the story first." He then looked at his wife who had a gloating expression on her face. "You! Stop being stubborn. You both can finish your fight after I'm done with you two."

"Now start the story but in layman's terms," Long Jie added.

"The man you call brother is in actuality my real brother," said Zhenyi to Long Jie. "My mom was in high school when Dad impregnated her. And as a result, Ryuu came into this world. But you see, my mom belonged to a royal family. She was a princess and there was no way my Grandpa had let mom marry Dad because Tangs never marry an outsider. But since she was pregnant and grandfather was overjoyed with the news of a grandchild. He let that wedding happen but on one condition that Ryuu must be a Tang, not a Xin. And his existence must be a secret."

Long Jie had an astonished expression on his face as he heard Zhenyi's words. The man he called brother was in fact her wife's brother all along. And what had he not told Ryuu about his life? Even his real intentions about the wedding. Even his previous mistresses. And he still let the wedding happen? Just how much he trusted her.

"You can come to earth now, Ah-Jie," Ryuu said nonchalantly.

"You still let the wedding happen?" Long Jie asked Ryuu in bewilderment.

"What do you mean by 'you still let the wedding happen' ?" questioned Zhenyi immediately. Was there something she was not aware of? Were they hiding something from her?

"Well, he knows about my real intentions when my father forced me to marry you," Long Jie hesitantly replied. "He also knows about all the women--"

"Stop!" Zhenyi held up her hand. "I don't want to hear about your colorful life." She looked at Ryuu and said, "Out of all the people in the world, my brother had the least right to not let you marry me given how colorful his life is. You had an amazing girlfriend. You have a wonderful kid. Still, you went ahead and married Long Jie's other cousin. You gave him one sister. But picked two of his cousins in return, Big Bro. Just what were you thinking?"

"I might have my reasons, Angel," said Ryuu. "Let's not judge me so quickly, especially until it's not over."
