You Must Talk to Me
Coco’s face immediately turned pale. “Mommy was beaten? What happened? Please explain it clearly.”
“Brother, last night when Mommy came back, I saw finger marks on her face while I was giving her a massage. It was clear that she had been hit, but Mommy denied it and insisted it was an allergic reaction to shrimp. But it was obviously from being hit,” Xiaoxiao pouted, her eyes welling up with tears.
Coco’s face flushed with anger. “Tell me, who hit Mommy? This is despicable.”
“It seems to be someone named Shen Mei,” Xiaoxiao struggled to convey Shen Ning’s thoughts at the time.
“Shen Mei?” Coco clenched his fists.
Wasn’t she Lan Lan’s mother?
He had been living in this house for three days now, and the servants had mentioned that name several times.
However…
He hadn’t actually spoken to her yet.
Every time he saw her, she didn’t even spare him a glance, so cold and distant.
Coco couldn’t be bothered to deal with her.
But he felt sorry for Ding Ding!
After all, he was now Ding Ding, and Shen Mei was supposed to be Ding Ding’s biological mother.
But it seemed like she didn’t care about Ding Ding at all.
No wonder Ding Ding didn’t like staying in this house.
It was too cold and heartless. Ah, he couldn’t imagine how Ding Ding had grown up in such an environment.
Coco thought of his own mommy, Shen Ning. She would inquire about his and Xiaoxiao’s daily lives, find time to be with them, always considerate of them, afraid they would go hungry or feel cold. It was truly heartwarming.
His mommy was amazing, and he would never allow anyone to bully her.
“Xiaoxiao, don’t worry. I’ll come back right away.” Coco hurriedly reassured her. But before he could finish speaking, the door was pushed open.
He looked up.
There, Lan Lan walked in wearing a beautiful princess dress, her hands behind her back.
“Okay, Brother, I’ll be waiting for you. I miss you so much.” Xiaoxiao couldn’t see what was happening on Coco’s side and spoke in a sweet, childish voice through the phone.
Lan Lan immediately heard Xiaoxiao’s voice and rushed over to snatch Coco’s wristwatch phone, warily asking, “Ding Ding, who are you talking to?”
Coco raised his hand to dodge and immediately turned off the device.
But in the end, Lan Lan still saw the beautiful little girl on the screen of the wristwatch phone and became displeased.
“It’s none of your business.” Coco adjusted the phone back into position and asked disapprovingly, “Who told you to come into my room without knocking?”
“Who is she?” Lan Lan didn’t answer, but pointed to the phone and asked about the girl inside.
“I’m not telling you.” Coco replied coldly and warned, “Don’t come into my room without knocking from now on.”
“I want to come in. I want to come in. Tell me quickly, who is she?” Lan Lan kept pestering, trying to pry for answers.
“Such a nuisance.” Coco grew impatient, gave her a disdainful look, then lowered his head to play with an Ultraman toy, ignoring her.
“Ding Ding, I command you not to play with Ultraman. You have to talk to me.” Lan Lan bossily demanded.
“Annoying. Extremely annoying.” Coco glared at her, picked up Ultraman, and ran out.
Lan Lan stood there pouting, her eyes teary and full of resentment.
Coco intentionally flew the Ultraman toy above his head as he ran and played, and before he knew it, he had run out of the villa’s front yard.
But when he stood at the front of the villa and looked, he was dumbfounded.
The mansion was like a kingdom, with a large area. It would be difficult to run out of here.
So how was he going to go home?
“Ding Ding, do I look pretty in this dress?” Just as he was pondering, Lan Lan suddenly ran over again, this time wearing a Barbie bubble-sleeved dress and twirling the skirt in front of him with her hands behind her back, asking coquettishly.
