Villain Ch 1672. I’ll Take The Responsibility

Allen let out a noise that was somewhere between a sigh and a growl.

The kind of sound that said ‘I give up, but I’m taking all of you down with me.’

He dragged his palm down his face, took a long breath, and finally said it. The sentence that would seal his fate with both dread and inevitability.

“Fine. How about this—” his voice was flat, tired, dangerous. “I’ll book a hotel room for all of us. Tonight. A suite. I’ll take the responsibility.”

A sharp silence followed. Just for a second.

And then—

A voice, low and melodic, sliced through it like silk and seafoam.

“How about my place?”

Allen blinked.

He turned toward the voice like a man checking if the reaper was behind him.

And there she stood.

Shea.

Barefoot. Soaked in moonlit glow. Her hair cascading like liquid waves, eyes like tidepools. She was leaning against one of the archways that framed the banquet hall, her posture lazy, her smirk lethal.

“I’ll have my butler clean everything before you arrive,” she added, smoothing her wind-wet curls behind one ear. “Throne polish included.”

The girls lit up instantly.

“Agreed,” Bella said.

“Deal,” Jane chimed in.

“Oooh, I’ve always wanted to go to Shea’s place again,” Alice said, already imagining how many couches she could seduce Allen on.

Allen didn’t even try to resist at this point. His soul had taken a smoke break somewhere without him.

“Fine. After dinner.”

He finally pulled the last strap on his chest armor, now fully dressed and a little less emotionally naked. “But for now, we concentrate on the actual game. You know—grinding.”

That word. That word.

It summoned chaos.

“Grinding?” another voice echoed from the side, innocent but not.

Zoe.

Casually climbing down from one of the obsidian pillars like she lived there. Her coral bracelets clicking together as she moved with that impossible underwater grace.

She blinked those wide violet eyes. “Like yesterday’s grinding?”

Allen paused.

Yesterday in the Glass Maw… they had looked good. Too good.

Jane’s moans.

Bella rode the aggro line like a dominatrix on caffeine.

Alice doing death chants with blushes between incantations.

And Zoe? Wrapping enemies and Allen in her slick tendrils like it was casual.

He cleared his throat. “Yeah. Grinding. As long as you girls don’t suddenly feel hot and jump on me mid-combat.”

“I mean… it wouldn’t be that bad~”

Larissa emerged from the shadows like a gothic whisper, eyes half-lidded, hips swaying. She licked one fang lazily and said, “I’d consider it a buff.”

“I’ll behave~”

Vivian appeared with zero subtlety, one leg raised on the nearby throne arm, flashing too much skin and zero shame.

Allen stared at them all.

All lined up. All ready to flirt, fight, or feast.

He huffed.

“Great. Now, if you don’t mind—give me five minutes to murder ten players. Daily mission. You girls decide where you want to go after, or I’ll pick the spot, and trust me, I will choose the place with the ugliest dungeon textures.”

They all replied at once, sickly sweet.

“Okay~”

Allen grumbled something under his breath and turned toward the portal room.

As the heavy doors creaked open and magic swirled in arcs of blue and purple light, he stepped inside and called up the region map. His fingers flicked through the list until he found one.

Bloodshade Expanse.

A mid-tier field. Packed with overconfident players farming boss shards and relic chests. PvP flag always on. One of Allen’s favorite spots to “grind”—in every sense but theirs.

He tapped the choice.

The portal hummed.

A cold draft of air whooshed past him as the circle activated, the runes spinning in tighter, faster spirals. His armor glinted in the light, eyes narrowed.

Behind him, Shea called out casually, “Don’t die too fast, lover. We haven’t even tried the guest bath yet.”

“Save me the scented oils,” Allen muttered.

And then he stepped through.

[Teleportation Confirmed: Zone – Bloodshade Expanse]

The crypt vanished. Replaced by the open sky of a war-torn canyon. Crimson trees bled fog across broken bridges. Banners of rival guilds flapped in the cursed wind.

Allen cracked his neck.

The heat of battle was already thick in the air—spells being flung, blades clashing, players shouting orders in proximity chat.

Perfect.

He pulled his sword from its back slot and scanned the crowd.

There—

A group of five melee combat players camping a ruined tower, bragging about their kill streaks. Laughing. Relaxed.

Amateurs.

Allen moved.

He didn’t announce himself. He didn’t posture.

He blinked forward using Shadow Step, a silent flicker across space, and reappeared right behind the one in the middle.

His blade went straight through the guy’s back.

The others barely had time to react before Allen was already among them. Sword spinning, boots crunching skulls, cloak flaring behind him like wings of darkness.

He moved with a rhythm.

A dance.

The carnage was elegant.

Cruel.

Efficient.

Each kill a message. Each death a punctuation mark.

[You have slain BladeSlayer_Yuki]

[You have slain TowerClimbDude]

[You have slain iLikeFeet_02]

Allen paused only to mutter, “Seriously?”

Less than five minutes later, the field was quiet again.

And Allen’s log ticked.

[Daily Player Elimination Complete – 10/10]

[Reward: PvP Shard X2 ]

[EXP Bonus Active ]

He rolled his shoulder, the blood on his blade already evaporating into cursed mist.

A message pinged.

Selena (Alice): Are you done yet~?

Abyssia (Zoe): We’ve narrowed it down to three villa outfit themes.

Eira (Bella) : Also, I want sushi. Real sushi. I want to eat it off someone.

Lullaby (Shea) : Not it. Unless I get to eat Allen in return.

Allen stared at the messages.

He let out another sigh.

But the corner of his mouth twitched—just a little.

He looked up at the haunted crimson sky and whispered, “Maybe I am broken.”

And then he opened the skills menu again.

Time to go home.

Or… whatever they called his new hellish harem base of operations now.
