Chapter 2627: Four Fruit Restaurant And Ten Flower Beauties

With so many options, it was hard to choose.

Lin Mu turned to Daoist Chu for guidance. "Which do we choose?"

Daoist Chu smiled knowingly. "We're going to the Tree Crown Hall." He produced a small, intricately engraved card, handing it to the attendant.

The attendant's eyes widened in recognition. "Ah, honored guests, please follow me!"

He took them to the top floor, and the others followed, soon reaching the location.

"What's that?" Lin Mu asked Daoist Chu while walking.

"A VIP card, of course," Daoist Chu said proudly.

"How did you get that?" Lin Mu asked before realizing something. "Wait… how many times have you been here?"

"Over a hundred times," Daoist Chu said with a smile.

"That much?" Lin Mu hadn't expected that. "Haven't you been to the Jui World less than ten times, though?" he remembered.

"Yeah, but during some visits, I stayed here longer. And I pretty much ate here every day, multiple times. It was my exclusive place to dine at," Daoist Chu replied, making Lin Mu even more surprised.

"The food's that good?" Lin Mu asked.

"Amitabha, while the food is good, Daoist Chu doesn't come here for just that," Monk Hushu said, throwing a knowing look at the man. "He comes here for 'visual' enjoyment."

"And what's that?" Lin Mu asked.

Before Daoist Chu could answer, several charming voices rang out, like the chime of silver bells.

"Ah! Master Chu! You're here!" The voices called out.

Lin Mu looked up to see a group of stunning women rushing out of the hall on the top floor. Each woman seemed to embody a unique flower, their attire and demeanor reflecting their distinctive charm. They were dressed in exquisitely tailored robes, each representing a signature color and theme.

The first woman wore a flowing pink dress adorned with intricate cherry blossom patterns. Her lustrous black hair cascaded down her back, accentuated by a delicate cherry blossom tucked behind her ear. Her porcelain skin glowed with youthful vitality, and her ruby-red lips curved into a sweet smile.

The second woman exuded sophistication, clad in a deep crimson robe embroidered with roses. Her jet-black hair was coiled into an elegant bun, secured with a rose-shaped hairpin. Her almond-shaped eyes radiated allure, and her movements were as graceful as a swaying bloom.

The third woman's slender figure was wrapped in a robe of azure silk, shimmering like the surface of a tranquil lake. Blue crystal bells dangled from her ears, tinkling softly with every step. Her smile was serene, and her gentle gaze seemed to put everyone at ease.

The fourth woman was a vision in emerald green. Her robe was decorated with vine patterns, and a wreath of fresh hellebore flowers crowned her wavy brown hair. Her curvaceous figure was perfectly proportioned, and her lively eyes sparkled with mischief.

As more women emerged, each had her own captivating aura: a golden-robed beauty with sunflower-like radiance, a lavender-clad woman with lilac-scented perfume, and others who seemed to bring a garden's worth of charm to life.

"Little Lily, Little Berry, come here! I missed you," Daoist Chu's demeanor shifted completely as he opened his arms wide.

Two of the women, one in a pristine white robe and another in raspberry red, squealed in delight and darted toward him, embracing him tightly.

"We waited for you for so long. I thought you were going to visit us fifty years ago," said the girl in white, her doe-like eyes full of playful reproach.

"Oh, sorry, I got caught up in an expedition," Daoist Chu replied, his tone indulgent.

"Oh wow! What kind of expedition?" asked the raspberry-robed girl, her eyes sparkling with curiosity.

"Let's go in first. I'll tell you all about it," Daoist Chu spoke before turning to Lin Mu. "But before that, I have a very close friend of mine to introduce to you all. This is Daoist Lin Mu." He gestured toward him.

As soon as Lin Mu was introduced, he felt an ominous sense of foreboding.

'Where has he dragged me to?' Lin Mu thought, casting a glance at Monk Hushu, who wore a helpless expression.

"Don't worry, this isn't a Courtesan Pavilion. They're merely the hostesses," Daoist Chu whispered to Lin Mu. "They're called the Ten Flower Beauties of the Four Fruit Restaurant. Only Tree Crown Hall customers can enjoy their service."

Sigh.

"Alright," Lin Mu said reluctantly.

"It'll be fine. You'll enjoy it. They're not just beautiful; they're knowledgeable about plants and trees. You can talk to them about herbology," Daoist Chu said, knowing exactly how to mollify his friend.

"Okay," Lin Mu said, feeling slightly more at ease.

The crimson-robed beauty approached first, her voice a sultry melody. "So, it's Master Lin Mu. To think Master Chu has such a handsome friend."

Her tone was so captivating that most men would have melted under her gaze. But Lin Mu barely flinched. Though he appreciated their beauty, he had encountered figures like Mei Nienzhen, Crown Princess Shang, Lady Kang, and, of course, the Saintess. Their unparalleled grace had hardened his resolve.

The azure-robed woman stepped closer, her eyes twinkling. "What do you do, Master Lin Mu? Are you also part of the Immortal Court?"

Before he could answer, the emerald-clad woman chimed in. "Shall we play a guessing game?"

"Yes! That sounds fun!" said the pink-clad cherry blossom girl, tugging at Lin Mu's sleeve.

"I suggested it, so I should go first," the green-robed woman said, looping her arm through Lin Mu's.

Lin Mu stood awkwardly as the women surrounded him, their playful banter making it hard for him to speak.

Suddenly, the air shifted.

The women froze as an unseen pressure settled over them. A chill ran down their spines, and an eerie sense of danger crept into their minds. Their hands, which had been reaching for Lin Mu, recoiled instinctively.

Confused, they tried again, only for the oppressive sensation to return, sharper this time. It was as if a venomous serpent lay coiled in the shadows, ready to strike.

The women exchanged uneasy glances, stepping back from Lin Mu. Even without understanding the cause, they knew better than to test their luck.
