With My System, I Can Even Tame Gods
Chapter 1105 - 1105: Selling the best“There’s one over there. It’s yours to take down.” Lin Fan pointed in one direction before turning away as if he didn’t care.
As soon as he did, Hayase raced off with Shiro and the rest of his pets following after him.
It seemed that all of them were competing to see who would be the first one to take down the thing that Lin Fan pointed out.
It wasn’t strange to see this since it had been a long time since they had been released from the Pet Storage Space.
Lin Fan couldn’t use his pets that easily on the cultivation continent since it was a power that was considered a minor path. With his status and his cultivation level, it wasn’t something that could be revealed that easily.
But here on the magic continent, he had no problem revealing it since summoning was a normal school of magic here.
In fact, it helped him to disguise himself as a summoner while he was on this magic continent.
For the pets though, this was a rare chance to come out instead of being stuck in the Pet Storage Space all the time. That was why they made the most out of it and did what they could while they were out here.
As for what they were doing, they were currently hunting monsters.
“Is this really the best way?” Lin Fan couldn’t help asking himself as he thought about the plan that they came up with.
…
“What do you mean by providing them with weapons? Why would we just make them stronger if we’re going to take them down? That just makes it harder for us to deal with them when it’s all over.” Haku asked in a calm voice.
She had learned her lesson from before.
She knew that there was nothing to gain from losing control of herself, so she calmly asked this question to see just what Yue Lan and Ming Xin were thinking.
“But if we don’t give them weapons, then they won’t fight as intensely and hurt themselves. If we want to make sure that they use up as much power as they can, then we’ll need to goad them into fighting as hard as they can.”
Haku slowly gave a nod as if she was agreeing with this, but she still had to say, “Even if we do that, it still means that they will have powerful weapons in their hands when the time comes. With these powerful weapons, it might be harder to take them down than if we just let them fight the way that they’re currently fighting.”
It wasn’t as if she was refuting what Yue Lan said, it was just that she was saying in a tactful manner…
“It depends on how far you’re planning on going. If you give them weapons that are too strong, then it’ll be troublesome to deal with them when the time comes.”
But Yue Lan just shook her head to say, “We’ll give them the best weapons possible.”
“Huh?” It wasn’t just Haku that was caught off guard by this.
Even Lin Fan was caught off guard when Yue Lan said this.
Though he had faith in her, what she was saying was just completely different from the way that Yue Lan acted normally. It was so different that Lin Fan had to doubt if this was really Yue Lan and not someone else.
Though, it wasn’t as if he would say that out loud or else he would be in the dog house.
Instead, Yue Lan just calmly said, “Just like with the dragon auction, we’ll gather some of the best materials to create weapons with and auction them off in the Kalos Empire.”
Everyone looked at Yue Lan with a strange look.
At this point, there was only one thing that everyone was thinking.
“Are you trying to help the Kalos Empire instead of destroying them?”
While they did understand that doing this would increase the competition between the factions of the Kalos Empire, the increase in strength of those factions that would come as a result of this wasn’t something that was beneficial.
It seemed like there wasn’t enough of a gain to outweigh the losses.
Haku looked like she was slowly becoming disappointed with Yue Lan when she heard this and she couldn’t help looking at Ming Xin. Ming Xin had been silent the whole time, so she was hoping that Ming Xin would speak up to stop Yue Lan.
Only Ming Xin just stood by Yue Lan’s side with a confident smile on her face as if she supported her.
It was clear that the two of them were on the same page and they were the only ones that were on the same page. There wasn’t anyone else that was even reading the same book as the two of them.
So Haku slowly asked, “It doesn’t seem like we’ll gain enough to outweigh the losses like this. Do you really think that this is the best course of action at this current time?”
The tone that she took and the words that she said, it really seemed like she was doing all that she could to be tactful. It seemed that Yue Lan and Ming Xin had impressed her quite a bit that she was willing to say all of this.
But still…
“This is the best course of action.” Yue Lan and Ming Xin both insisted on this.
Haku’s lips couldn’t help twitching when she heard this before she said with a sigh, “I really can’t with you two. Explain what you mean by this.”
Yue Lan and Ming Xin revealed smiles before explaining their plan.
“This spiritual sense, is it really that special?”
Even Lin Fan couldn’t help being surprised by what Yue Lan and Ming Xin exposed.
After all, he hadn’t even thought about this until now.
“That’s right. Spiritual sense is a special form of energy unique to the cultivation continent. With this, we’ll be able to sabotage all of their weapons without them noticing so that they will break when the time comes.”
Haku looked at them with one brow raised as if she was still doubtful, but then she turned to look at Lin Fan.
If it wasn’t for the fact that she really was at a loss at this matter, then she definitely wouldn’t have looked in Lin Fan’s direction like this. After all, it was clear what Haku’s opinion of Lin Fan was.
Lin Fan just shook his head since he wasn’t certain on this matter either.
In fact, this was something that he had never even considered.
That was why he couldn’t help asking, “When did you have time to confirm this?”
“It’s the knights that you captured.” Yue Lan explained in a calm voice that just made Lin Fan even more confused.
“When did you…”
Before he could finish, Yue Lan just said, “While you’ve been here, Ming Xin and I have been running tests with those invaders from the Kalos Empire. Since they were here to invade, of course we wanted as much information as possible about them. Did you really think that we would remain idle all this time?”
Lin Fan couldn’t help revealing a bitter smile at the fact that he had been kept in the dark the entire time, but there was also a look of praise in his eyes as he looked at her.
After all, he hadn’t thought about this at all and he was impressed by how prepared she was.
“Let me see it then.” Haku suddenly interrupted them before waving at her subordinate.
One of them came forward with what seemed to be some kind of bone and walked over to Yue Lan, but Yue Lan directed them over to Lin Fan instead.
Lin Fan had a trace of a bitter smile on his face, but he still reached his hand out as if he was going to take the bone. But before he did, he couldn’t help asking, “What am I even supposed to do with this?”
“Just inject your spiritual sense in, there’s nothing else you have to do.” Yue Lan simply replied.
So Lin Fan followed her instructions and did what she told him to do.
When he was done, Yue Lan took the bone from him and handed it over to Haku.
She took it and started looking at it carefully. With the way that she looked at this bone, it was as if she was trying to find every little detail with it.
But in the end, the way that Haku slightly knitted her brows showed that she didn’t find what she was looking for.
After a while, she finally tossed the bone down on the table as if she was done with it. At the same time, there was this displeased look on her face as if she wasn’t happy that she couldn’t find anything.
So instead of praising it, she just asked, “What can you do with this spiritual sense? Even if it’s in the bone, it isn’t as if it will do anything to it.”
Yue Lan didn’t mind as she took out a small piece of paper to draw something.
When she was done, she showed it to Lin Fan and said, “Move the spiritual sense to reflect this array.”
Lin Fan didn’t doubt her and just moved the spiritual sense that was still in the bone.
It didn’t take long for the bone to suddenly shatter to pieces from the inside out.
With this display, it was hard to refute what Yue Lan claimed.
