It seemed that Ye Qing Huan really had a much higher position in the Heavenly Demon Sect than Lin Fan thought that they would do all this for her. At the same time, it seemed that her family cared for her quite a bit that they were willing to go along with this.

After all, he was someone that was unknown.

The Fire Fist King nodded in agreement before saying, “If there’s anything that the Heavenly Demon Sect does, it’s take care of our own people.”

Grandma Pan was less energetic as she said, “As the young miss’ letter states, you will be designated as the guardian of the Mu Empire sent by the sect. Those that have been deployed here will have to follow your orders. As for what happens in the Mu Empire, it will be to your discretion.”

I couldn’t help raising a brow after hearing this.

The way that they said this was as if the Heavenly Demon Sect was completely releasing their hands from the Mu Empire.

Well, not completely since they were still planning on protecting it with their experts.

It was just that they weren’t expecting anything from the Mu Empire at all with how this arrangement was set.

The more that Lin Fan thought about it, the more confused that he was about this.

After all, this seemed like the Heavenly Demon Sect was losing out on this deal no matter how he looked at it. It really didn’t seem like this was fair for the Heavenly Demon Sect.
