Chapter 1216 Date
It took a few more threats and bickering, but Rodney eventually delivered on his end of the deal. Of course, Khan didn't have a phone at the time, so he could only study that information from the console.
The list of contacts Rodney had provided was priceless but also temporarily useless. Khan would study it later, but something in the received pieces of information allowed immediate inspection and benefits.
Rodney had learned much about Merth 290's layout and political environment during his exile from legal areas. His information was slightly outdated, but Khan couldn't complain.
Milia 222 had seven asteroids, each with unique political structures. The lawless zone resembled a union of massive blocks with specific cultures, customs, and more. Instead, Merth 290 was closer to an archipelago, with each dome or island standing inside different areas of influence.
Currently, Khan was inside Dome 56, inside the Fuveall's area of influence. The nearby domes also belonged to that species, but Rodney obviously didn't know many details about the activities there.
Most of the received information delved into the human forces inside Merth 290, as well as general knowledge about the place. It turned out the domes weren't as connected as the architecture outside promised them to be. People usually had to travel through the landmass before resurfacing at their chosen destination.
Luckily, Rodney claimed the transport services inside the landmass were public and free, albeit a bit shabby. Some domes required payments or proper invitations to enter them, but Merth 290 had plenty of other areas Khan could explore before retrieving his phone and regaining access to his finances.
Khan kept studying the console, immersed in its new details, but the gradually colder white light on his face eventually forced him to turn. Much had happened during the calls, and Liiza had a few important points to discuss with him.
"Don't let Rodney get to your head," Khan announced. "Most of the things he says are only meant to bait favorable reactions."
Liiza didn't talk. Instead, she threw a sensual look at Khan, even biting her lip before leaning toward him. The kiss that landed on Khan's mouth made his mind go blank, and Liiza also pushed him until his back hit the narrow room's wall.
Khan's arms were already going for Liiza's back when cold fingers squeezed his crotch, making him utter a suppressed grunt. At that point, Liiza interrupted her kiss, retracting her face to show her terrifying, cold gaze.
"Why did Rodney think Jenna was your girlfriend?" Liiza asked, not a trace of emotion in her voice.
"Everyone misunderstood our relationship on Milia 222," Khan revealed, unable to do anything due to the hand squeezing his most sensitive body part. "We never corrected that misunderstanding because it was safer for her."
"Is that so?" Liiza wondered, putting more strength into her grip. "Or was it because big-chested Jenna was hotter than me?"
"[Liiza]," Khan called, only for an even colder sensation to spread between his legs.
"Maybe I should freeze it," Liiza considered. "Only to unfreeze it when I feel like using it. It's the safest option when my husband has so many big-chested women chasing after him."
The temperature between Khan's legs dropped so much that he started to feel numb in those spots. His survival instincts rang all kinds of alarms, but he knew that only honesty could save him from that dangerous situation.
"[Both with your mother and Jenna]," Khan grunted, "[My first and last thoughts were always about you. I refused them both because I only wanted you]."
Liiza's cold face didn't wane, but the hand on Khan's crotch relaxed, and she moved it toward his face. Her chilling fingers landed on his cheek, telling him exactly the temperature they had reached and how dangerous it would have been if she had continued to drop it.
"[I hate how the universe doesn't know you are mine]," Liiza declared. "[Once our honeymoon is over, we'll tell every single one of your friends, big-chested ex-girlfriends, acquaintances, and people who have only heard about you]."
"[Of course]," Khan agreed. "[We'll make sure everyone understands I'm not on the market anymore]."
"[Good]," Liiza said, suddenly kissing Khan before letting him go, snorting on her own as she retrieved her rags and shades to restore her cover.
Khan watched the scene, remaining on the wall. His mind couldn't help but go back in time, recalling a warning from Doku.
According to Doku, Niqols' women went crazy when they were in love, and Khan had already experienced part of that side of Liiza ten years ago. However, she wielded true power now, and it took very little for her to decide to use it against him.
'I might die before fighting the Scarlet Eyes,' Khan realized. 'Maybe she shouldn't meet Cora or Jenna for now. It's for their own safety.'
Still, as scary as the event had been, Khan was nothing close to a coward. If anything, those dangerous, toxic traits put a smirk on his face, making him desire to poke that chilling, beautiful beast a bit more.
"Were you worried I lied to you?" Khan teasingly asked, strolling toward Liiza to hug her waist from behind while she was busy restoring her makeshift hood. "You know I'm always honest with you. That's how I made you fall for me in the first place."
Liiza feigned ignorance, continuing her task. Her far longer hair was annoying to hide under that lump of rags, demanding her full attention.
"And you told me your weakness willingly," Khan kept teasing. "You truly wanted this handsome, virtuous human to hit on you and fall prey to your exotic beauty."
"Your big-chested exes might have left you off the hook with this little," Liiza guessed, escaping Khan's hug. "Your wife won't."
"Luckily, I can't stop loving my beautiful wife," Khan announced, stepping forward to seize Liiza's hand, "And I can't help but find her extremely cute, even when she threatens my junk."
Liiza giggled, finally turning to look at Khan. Her makeshift hood was complete, but she had yet to wear her shades, so her white eyes shone on Khan's face.
"I will really freeze it," Liiza warned.
"I chose a Niqols as my wife," Khan dramatically sighed, pretending to be helpless about the issue. "I'll have to deal with the consequences for the rest of my life now."
"That's how it should be, husband," Liiza approved.
"Poor, poor me," Khan continued his dramatic act, shaking his head. "Tricked from a young age by an exotic beauty, now trapped for life with her as my wife. I guess I should consider myself lucky she is the hottest woman I know."
Liiza exploded into a laugh, unable to refrain from muttering a giggling "[Stupid]". She even brought a hand to Khan's still exposed face, rubbing her now warmer fingers on his lips while wearing a sweeter but tempting look.
"Once this is done," Liiza whispered. "Let's find somewhere to stay so your wife can show you what else she can do with your junk."
"That somewhere would have to be quite resil-," Khan began to say, but Liiza's look grew more affectionate, making him drop the teasing words. He leaned forward, placing his forehead on the rags above hers, inevitably switching to a loving tone.
"We have close to twenty hours to kill," Khan revealed. "Do you want to look around and have our first real date in public?"
