Death... and me

Chapter 3308 Rely on Something

Chapter 3308  Rely on Something

Sister Orb then repaired the cracks in space, which was already a miracle to happen in the Celestial Soul Dimensional Realm, while asking. [So, just like Roan said, you would cultivate until the Fragment was emptied. What do you intend to do now?]

"First, this isn't really like the Void Tempering Realm. It is much higher. Should we really call it Void Tempering Realm?" Rean wondered.

Roan couldn't care less, though. "Why bother about such meaningless things? Just put a 'Sky' in front of the original name, and that's about it."

"Oh! That's actually a good idea." Rean was quite happy. "Then, let's just say we are in the Sky Void Tempering Realm."

"That is quite convenient as well," Kentucky commented, using his Divine Sense to feel the twins' and his own body. "Looking from the outside, it truly feels like we are in the Void Tempering Realm when I use my Divine Sense to check us. Only we can tell that it is not entirely the case."

"Exactly," Rean agreed with him. "As for what we are going to do now, it is actually quite simple. We will gather more Divine Stones and cultivate more and more until we reach the Divinity Realm."

Roan didn't have anything against that plan, but he also noticed a problem. "We already used such a huge amount of Divine Stones just to have this one breakthrough. Chances are the next ones will require even more energy. I don't like saying this, but I doubt Rank Two or Rank Three Divine Stones are enough. We need higher level ones."

[Well, don't forget that your Sky Energy is still not the real thing. You need Divine Origin Energy to make the best version of Sky Energy. Fortunately, you can already refine normal Divine Energy into Divine Origin Energy even though you just reached the Sky Void Tempering Realm. It's just...]

Sister Orb didn't finish her words, but they all understood. "Using low-level Divine Stones will also not make the cut. It's too slow."

[Yes. Besides, with the Universe Foundation Fragment gone, you will have to absorb the Starlight Energy from your stars normally.]

Kentucky quickly raised his wing. "I was using the Starlight Energy from the Fragment, which was pure and high in concentration. However, I've never cultivated with the Starlight Body Cultivation Technique. I don't really have my own Star to absorb Starlight Energy from. All I can do is absorb the normal Starlight Energy from other stars, but that isn't anywhere near as good or fast as a personal star, right?"

"Kentucky is correct," Roan confirmed. "Truth be told, even for Rean and I, that will be quite slow. The amount of Starlight Energy we got from the fragment was ridiculously high. If we were to absorb the natural Starlight Energy from our stars, I doubt we can reach the same amount in the next ten thousand years. In Kentucky's case, even fifty thousand years wouldn't be enough for him to acquire the same amount as he got from the Fragment."

They went silent for a moment. Their new Sky Soul Bloodline Cultivation Technique is indeed marvelous. They can tell just how huge the difference is to have their own Celestial Bloodlines, Bodies, and Souls. If they were put against their past selves in the same cultivation realm, they definitely could crush them now. Just their energy reserves alone probably matches an Elemental Space Realm cultivator. Yet, the drawback is obvious. They just need way too much Sky Energy. "Rean, what about your formations?" Roan asked to make sure.

Rean nodded. "Yes, I have a few formations that I could build over a big area to attract all the Starlight Energy in the surroundings to us. However, it is impossible for me to make the formation distinguish between which energy is from our stars and which one is not. It would still be faster, but not more than two or three times, if we are lucky. It also doesn't resolve Kentucky's problem since he doesn't have his own star."

"That means our cultivation speed would slow down another 33% since we need to absorb Starlight Energy for Kentucky as well..." Roan could see the difficulties ahead. The normal Starlight Energy was different from the Starlight Energy from one's own star. It wasn't pure since, obviously, those were not their stars. They simply aren't compatible with them.

Thanks to their connection, the system allowed for the Starlight Energy Rean and Roan absorbed to be compatible with Kentucky, but that also meant they would slow down considerably if they had to provide for him. The only reason the Starlight Energy in the Fragment was pure was because it was a Fragment of a Universe Foundation. It was immune to impurities, so everything it accumulated was perfect for use.

Still, that was already a huge speed. After all, that was the result they acquired with the energy absorption upgrade, which is at level three at the moment. That provided a boost of 15% increased speed of absorption.

"Formations could increase the speed by two or three times... that is not bad, but too slow nonetheless. We are still talking about thousands of years just to reach the Sky Space Bending Realm. Let's not even talk about the Elemental Space Realm and beyond."

[What about sharing tasks?] Sister Orb asked.

"What do you mean?"

[For example, Kentucky will only absorb Divine Energy while Rean and Roan will only absorb Starlight Energy. Since Starlight Energy is much slower, you don't need that much Divine Energy to start with. Kentucky alone should be able to absorb enough Divine Energy to use with the Starlight Energy Rean and Roan absorb. If anything, he probably will absorb more Divine Energy than you three need.]

"It is not a bad idea, but it probably wouldn't reduce the time of cultivation by much..." Rean said, considering the idea.

"In the end, the problem is Starlight Energy," Roan commented. Divine Energy they could fix by acquiring higher level Divine Stones, after all. Roan then looked in Sister Orb's direction. Or, to be more specific, the Control Orb. "Seems like we can only rely on that."

Rean also looked at the Control Orb, understanding his meaning. "Seems like it, indeed."
