The five centurions would each join one of the surrounding continents' powers, which highly regarded their abilities both as combatants and strategists. In exchange, they wouldn't be killed, and above all, the Olanstel Country wouldn't be wiped out of the map.

Even the Inquisition Hall got into those negotiations and even provided Soul Binding Contracts that worked on experts of their level. The Inquisition Hall didn't want to get involved but was promised enough resources to do so. That ensured that both sides would keep their word.

The third centurion, a spirit called Fidi-lu, was the only centurion to remain in the Qediya Continent, joining the Qediya Royal Family, which controlled that continent from the start.

"This is a story from a very, very long time ago. All centurions have long since disappeared. Some think they died; others think their contract time was over, and they just left. Nonetheless, the centurions became history and, naturally, part of my memories. I can go into deeper detail of how the war progressed back then if you want," Foliana concluded.
