Nameless Death stared at the woman for several seconds. It was as if she couldn’t sense him despite him standing near her.

“Tyrant Firmament.”

He found her name by cross-checking the information given to him by the Witch of Greed. According to the information, she was one of his targets to observe.

After he felt he had observed her sufficiently, he needed to move onto other targets.

“Why does she feel familiar?”

It was not just her, everything around felt new yet familiar to him.

A few minutes passed, and the woman continued to ignore him.

“Hey,” Nameless Death finally called her out.

She didn’t react. A thought came to Nameless Death and he moved forward, trying to touch the woman, but his hand phased through it.

It was as if he was a ghost.

He looked at his hands.

“The Witch did say she would send my mind to another Cosmos. I guess I can’t be seen or heard by others in this state.”

Perhaps because he was a ‘ghost’ right now, he could move through walls and fly around.

He used those abilities to tail the Tyrant Firmament for the next few weeks. She was a diligent person, who would wake up early and go through administration work each day.

It seemed she was responsible for handling the problems and projects brought to her by the Administrators (World Spirits).

Apparently, the Tyrant Firmament was one of the Overseers of this Cosmos.

Despite being busy with work, she would train regularly.

Nameless Death had to follow her for a few days before he could see her ability in action.

A drought had come in one of the areas, and the people were dying from the thirst.

She had gone there, and with a snap of her fingers, extracted all water from the air in hundreds of thousand miles radius, and created a sea for them.

Thereafter she gave instructions to the Administrator responsible for the area about how to deal with the sea, and left.

From what he had heard, droughts were normal in this Cosmos.

The information given to Nameless Death told the droughts were caused by [Aqua Nihil’s] fusion into the Cosmos.

Thanks to it, Nameless Death had quite a lot of opportunities to see Tyrant Firmament use her powers.

Every time he was astonished by her.

“An ability to control any and all water.”

It was a powerful ability.

Nameless Death had seen Supreme of Water in action. As a Supreme, she could use all Concepts of Gods who reached Stage 7 with Water element.

The ability she had shown to him had used a Concept — one that believed all life was born from Water. She had reversed that Concept and erased the monster out of existence while controlling Leonora’s body.

“While the Supreme’s Concept was strong, Tyrant Firmament’s Concept will win if both of them battle while having equal rank.”

Tyrant Firmament’s ability made it so that none of Water users could match her in direct confrontation.

Nameless Death followed her for a few years.

According to the information given to him, the time flow between different Cosmos wasn’t 1:1 so he could take his time to observe everything.

Even if the time ratio had been 1:1, it would not have been a problem. Nameless Death had a lot of time on his hand, and using it in this place was his choice.

“This entire place feels familiar. The more I look around, the more I feel like I’m understanding ‘myself.'”

Nameless Death already understood that this Cosmos was related to his somehow. Even the Sword Flame he had seen was the same.

Nameless Death left Tyrant Firmament after he was satisfied with his observation.

“The next target for observation is [Happiness].”

Apparently, Happiness was a Concept just like Aqua Nihil that had fused into this Cosmos. This fusion brought changes to the Cosmos and it was how they manifested into the Cosmos.

Aqua Nihil was the cause of frequent droughts.

Happiness had brought its own effects.

“The people here look quite happy,” he thought as he moved around the market.

He could see a child laughing while he ate an ice-cream and sat on his father’s shoulder.

A shopkeeper was shouting enthusiastically while showing his latest product — black stockings.

Countless peoples of different shapes and sizes walked through the busy streets with smiles.

Happiness was easy to find but difficult to observe.

The worst part was, how was he supposed to understand that he had observed ‘enough’?

The answer came to him in an unexpected way.

“Huh?”

Nameless Death was surprised. During his time in Voraka Site, he had gained all Elemental Affinities, and he had gained countless Concepts and techniques.

Still, these Concepts were stolen, and so were the Elemental Masteries he had. None of them were his own.

His ‘own’ mastery of the new Elemental Affinities refused to increase beyond Adept no matter what he did.

“I wasn’t really bothered since I could increase the mastery by making a new Core with another monster’s Concept, but this…

“Why was I suddenly able to create a Concept?”

He hadn’t even been trying to create a Concept. It happened on its own.

While he was drowned in his thoughts, a new notification appeared.

[Life Element Mastery: Expert → Savant → Supreme (Peak)]

He raised a brow. His mastery shot to the very limit of mortal rank as soon as he got the Concept of the Element.

Before Expert Mastery, the Elemental Mastery signified the control of Element.

After Expert Mastery, the Elemental Mastery signified the control of Concept.

In other words, Nameless Death’s mastery of [Happiness] was extremely high.

“This is weird. I just got a Concept and I already mastered it for some reason.” He muttered, but in the end, he didn’t put much thought in it.

He already had Elemental Masteries of God ranks, so a mortal rank Elemental Mastery was quite weak for his current standards. However….

‘Even if it’s not useful for battle, somehow, I feel better knowing I have this Concept.’

It was as if he had been hit by nostalgia.

After gaining Happiness, Nameless Death began to observe other people, Concepts, and their manifestation.

He gained techniques too as he observed the phenomenon manifested by their fusion into Cosmos.

He observed the flames that burned in the depth of Ghaki Mountains. [World Ender Flames gained]

He came across a tree that drilled its roots into the depths of the land. [Ethereal World Devouring Roots gained]

He saw a giant green cocoon, which seemed to house a powerful sleeping entity within it. [Nullhour gained]

Nameless Death continued to travel.

As he saw and gained countless abilities, he could tell he was understanding ‘himself’.

After spending roughly two centuries, he had visited almost ninety percent of targets.

“END is left, so is Hadean Light, and Obitus, and several more. Which one should I go visit first?”

Nameless Death rubbed his chin.

He decided to observe the target Obitus.

She lived in a palace floating in the sky. The location was easy to find since he had seen it traveling in the heavens above several times.

He flew straight towards it and entered. According to the information in his head, she should be within the deepest chamber.

“This place…. is surprising.” Nameless Death muttered as he walked through the palace of Obitus.

Thanks to manifestation of Happiness, the people in this Cosmos were generally happy.

However, the palace of Obitus was shrouded in a despondent, and dreary presence.
