“We have orders to bring that kid for interrogation.”
“Are you guys going to break the rules?” the white-haired old man threatened again.
The tall old man beside him thought there was going to be a fight.
Erwin’s eyes flashed with a cold glint.
“I’m standing here. You guys can’t go inside,” Erwin said.
Hearing that, the two old men showed resentment.
“I have asked for help from the Fate Wizard. Do you guys still want to stay here?”
“You guys will be punished sooner for false accusations,” Charlotte said from the side.
A hint of fear flashed in the old man’s eyes for a second. Both of them didn’t want to be exposed in front of the people. Right now, the news reporters were watching them as well.
They looked at each other’s faces.
“What to do?” the short-haired old man asked.
“Let’s go. Otherwise, our heads will roll,” the taller old man replied.
“We are leaving,” the short, white-haired old man said.
Then he turned towards the Magic Lords and said, “Let’s go.”
The next second, the remaining eight Magic Lords turned around to leave. The two old men looked at the Silver Tower with hatred before departing.
Erwin eased his furrowed brows. He really couldn’t believe these idiots from the Mage Union dared to come here.
Charlotte sighed in relief. She then swept her eyes across the place. The wizards, reporters, and spies all felt a chill run down their spines.
The next second, they fled from the spot. They didn’t want to anger the Forbidden Wizards.
Erwin shook his head and said, “They are going to pay for this. But we should hide that kid for at least a week.”
“Okay,” Charlotte replied.
Then they both went inside the Silver Tower.
On the other hand, Manager Lara heaved a sigh of relief. She knew the Forbidden Wizards could make them go away. Now she was feeling at ease.
When they walked in, they saw Manager Lara as well.
“You did well. Nobody knows that Vincent Carey was not here. Otherwise, they would have done something else,” Charlotte praised her.
“Lord, I’m just following orders,” Lara replied.
“Did the other wizard seeds know?” Erwin asked all of a sudden.
Lara replied, “None of them came.”
“Good, don’t tell others. Just say Vincent Carey went outside to do a mission,” Erwin said.
“Okay, my Lord,” Lara replied.
“Now, we have to go and discuss with others,” Charlotte said.
Then they left the place, and Lara returned to her office.
