Chapter 1009: Inala Loses
“Indeed, it’s a good defence. But you’re not fit enough.”
Inala said as his Rutham right turned into a golden flash, moving up and down like a piston and unleashed over a dozen punches in under a second, all accelerated to the limit using psychokinesis. “You were so focused on defending against my Billakin that you forgot to guard against the attack strength of my Rutham.”
Boom!
The dust layer shattered as Inala bombarded Wenka with a series of punches until the latter fell unconscious. “Two of your leaders are down.”
His hands flashed, switching between Rutham and Billakin. The former was used for speed in movement, and the latter for its deconstruction and reconstruction traits. The Homing Satellite was now rebuilt as his Spirit Weapon.
Landing on the stone giant’s shoulder, Inala stared at the far away figure of Hunsar, “You’re the last leader of this group.”
“I’ll deal with you now.”
“Go! Take to the skies!” Hunsar shouted in response as all the Zinger Aristocrats catapulted themselves into the air using strings of Prana.
Primary Nature—Homing Satellite!
Secondary Nature—Accel Hurl!
Tertiary Nature—Prana Stitch!
Prana Stitch—Tangible Psychokinesis!
Hunsar threw two Homing Satellites at a low arc, whose interior was made using rock. They moved at a height a hundred metres from the surface, making a beeline towards Inala. The Homing Satellites spun thanks to the effects of Accel Hurl, moving faster and tracking Inaka’s position with greater precision.
The strings of Prana stabbed into the earth and tugged, further adding to its speed. It also acted to steer the Homing Satellite, allowing it to course-correct itself at sharper angles.
Inala’s figure flickered in a zigzag position in an effort to evade the two Homing Satellites. As he turned right, the Homing Satellites followed suit. A left, and they crept closer.
’Indeed, the one with the most experience is the strongest.’ Inala thought as he watched the Homing Satellite under his control get obliterated by the two Homing Satellites. Soon, Inala was within their Spirit Weapon range, immediately causing him to feel a mental strain, “Urgh!”
His Prana was being absorbed to fuel the psychokinesis, allowing the Homing Satellites to revolve around his Spirit Weapon range. This Spirit Weapon range was only 180 metres and would increase according to Hunsar’s Life Stage cultivation.
It didn’t depend on Inala, as the Homing Satellite was only using his Prana and psychokinesis to act like a Spirit Weapon, but wasn’t his. Even if they didn’t strike him, as long as they kept revolving around Inala, they would eventually drain his Prana.
After that, the Homing Satellites would take action in the form of stone giants and crush their target with physical might.
The Homing Satellites were positioned 180 metres from Inala, irrespective of where he moved. But of course, the moment they began to use his Prana, Inala punched the ground underneath him.
Mystic Sumatra Art—Kinesis Fist!
Using Rutham, he accelerated his punch into a golden flash. And right before making contact, he changed it to Billakin and shattered the ground. Dust spilled out like a wave as he jumped into the hole.
Like a piston, his hands punched into the ground dozens of times per second. And before each impact, the respective hand turned into Billakin.
He had reacted so quickly that even by burrowing into the ground, Inala had escaped the Spirit Weapon range of the Homing Satellites.
When he burrowed into the ground, the Homing Satellites spontaneously moved downward to keep pace with him. However, doing so would mean they would crash into the ground. Hence, the strings of Prana in them seeped into the ground and pushed away, preventing the Homing Satellites from crashing into them.
Right as the Homing Satellites arrived at a stop, Inala escaped from their Spirit Weapon range, freeing himself.
He tunnelled out, carrying in his hands a pile of fist-sized rocks. Grabbing one, his Rutham hand turned into a golden flash, launching the rock at a Zinger Aristocrat in the air.
Kriek!
The Zinger Aristocrat screamed as a hole appeared in its stomach, forcing it to focus on recovery.
“Only move sideways,” Inala said as he hurled the stones nonstop. His warning ensured the Zinger Aristocrats would only be targeted around the stomach and, at most, the arms.
He was targeting the stomachs primarily. However, if the Zinger Aristocrats were to evade by moving forward or backwards, there was a chance the stones would hit them in the head.
The Zinger Aristocrats had a tough enough head to not die from a single hit. But they were bound to lose consciousness. And a free fall from height would splatter their bodies.
Swoosh!
Two more Homing Satellites flew towards him at sonic speeds.
Mystic Sumatra Art—Kinesis Weapon!
Inala cranked up his speed and rushed towards the two Homing Satellites thrown at him first. He kept pace and then burrowed into the ground, not leaving enough time for the newcoming two Homing Satellites to evade.
There was a crash, and then the four Homing Satellites rolled off the side of the mountain cliff.
’He had positioned himself at the exact spot where running towards the first Homing Satellite duo would give him a moment where he could burrow into the ground and result in this crash.’ Hunsar analysed, his gaze deepening, ’He knew I would analyse his speed and throw my Homing Satellites to box him in. He used my calculation against me.’
’So, this is what his enemies had to face in the past.’ He thought and stitched a string of Prana eight times, the maximum at Gold Grade, thereby obtaining a string of Prana with a length of 1440 metres. Since he was at the 2-Life Stage, this string of Prana’s length could be doubled to 2880 metres.
Hunsar didn’t do that, and instead split his bodies. The mature body assumed Pranic Beast form and hovered high up in the air, behaving as a platform for the Quip Zingers to land and launch themselves.
The newer body remained in human form, having attached a Homing Satellite to a string of Prana and wielded it like a weapon, intending to counter Inala.
He spun the string of Prana and plunged the Homing Satellite into the crater, taking advantage of the string of Prana’s length. The Homing Satellite water until it was full. It shrunk to fist-size as the string of Prana yanked it out.
Like a lasso, Hunsar spun it and launched it towards Inala.
Currently, Inala had just burrowed out of the ground, carrying another pile of rocks. Seeing that all the Zinger Aristocrats had taken to the skies, intending to rely on their range advantage to defeat him, he spared a glance and began throwing rocks at them.
Boom!
Thrown with all the power of his Rutham hands, the rocks broke through the sound barrier for a second and headed towards their target.
Hovering at a height of 1440 metres, using a net created from strings of Prana that had latched to the Zinger Guard in the air, the Zinger Aristocrats had a bit over four seconds to dodge the stone throw, which was plenty of time to evade safely.
As the rocks missed the target, reached their maximum height, and began to free fall, strings of Prana grabbed them and whip-launched them back at Inala.
Using the string of Prana created by the Zinger Guard, a Homing Satellite crushed rocks and sent it up. And once the psychokinesis within the string of Prana carried it to the top, two Zinger Aristocrats used Tangible Psychokinesis to transport them to the back of the Zinger Guard.
And then, they chucked the rocks to the Zinger Aristocrats maintaining the nets, from where they dropped the rocks on Inala.
As the rocks rained down from the net in the sky, Inala noticed Hunsar’s actions. But just as he got ready to counter the Homing Satellite, the latter turned intangible, releasing all the water forming is body.
A wave of water splashed onto him and sent Inala skidding across the mountainside.
’It has considerable force.’ The tips of his fingers grew sharp as Inala pierced them into the rocky side of the mountain. “Urgh!”
The water washed over him, intending to flush him down the mountainside. Any Spirit Weapon or solids were useless against him, since he could counter them immediately.
Hence, taking advantage of the time bought by the Zinger Aristocrats raining down rocks from the sky, Hunsar stitched eight Homing Satellites together to raise the space within it to the limit, filled it up with water, and released it on Inala.
He had created a flood. And carried within the flood were all the rocks thrown by the Zinger Aristocrats, which began bombarding Inala as he grabbed onto the side of the mountain for dear life.
His right hand gripped the rock while his left punched the boulders slamming into him. Suddenly, his skin prickled as Inala noticed two clumps of Prana land in the rocks in his proximity.
Primary Nature—Homing Satellites!
The rocks turned into Homing Satellites. However, they remained hidden. But since they were within Spirit Weapon range, they could connect with Inala and wear him down. His mind was getting tired while his Prana was consumed at a faster pace.
’No matter, it’s only for a few seconds.’ Inala thought as the flood of water started to thin out. But a second later, the flood intensified as Hunsar had extracted another portion from the crater.
Kriek!
“Urgh!” Suddenly, a powerful impact slammed into the back of his head, drawing blood. The momentum behind the impact slammed his face into the rock.
It was a Prana Bomb, launched by a Quip Zinger who had timed the attack right. The Prana Bomb stuck to the back of Inala’s head, absorbing his Prana. Right as he flailed his hand, intending to either rip it apart or turn it into a Spirit Weapon, a second Prana Bomb struck his shoulder.
A third arrived, landing on his lower back. Then the fourth! Then the fifth!
The Quip Zingers bombarded Inala with the attacks, forcing the latter to waste Prana to heal his body. Another, larger portion was stolen by the Prana Bombs. And when it seemed like Inala was about to grab them, they ejected themselves using a string of Prana and rolled down the mountain.
His left hand turned into Billakin as Inala slammed a punch into the mountain, intending to bore out a hole and rush in. But right as he created a hole, he gasped in surprise to see the entire section of the mountainside come off and begin sliding down.
“You…” He glared in the direction of the peak, understanding what Hunsar had done.
Hunsar focused on specific spots on the mountain peak, turned the rock into Homing Satellites, and kept them as is. Once the time was right, he caused the Homing Satellites to shrink to fist-sized, removing a large chunk in the mountain, as if it was being cut into.
The weight of the rock couldn’t be borne by the portion stuck to the mountain and broke. This section of the rock spanned a kilometre in size, causing a thunderous rumble as it slid down and crashed into the valley below.
“Your only way to survive this is to accept defeat and use all your abilities.” Hunsar expressed calmly as he watched Inala helplessly be carried by the sliding rock and down the mountainside. “Will you change your mind?”
“…No,” Inala closed his eyes and sighed, allowing himself to be carried down the mountainside. He was bleeding from head to toe, deprived of all Prana. The Prana Bombs behind the cause had already launched themselves away from him, not giving him any options to recover his Prana.
The sheer mental strain from so many Prana Bombs simultaneously absorbing his Prana had almost knocked him unconscious. Inala was barely staying awake, ’This takes me back to my time at the Ganrimb Kingdom. I used Prana Bombs in this way during the Centinger Mating Season.’
Boom!
“This is my loss,” There was a loud rumble following suit, as the sliding portion of the mountain splattered upon reaching the bottom.
