I'll Surpass The MC

Chapter 1015: A Dangerous Inala

Chapter 1015: A Dangerous Inala

“Find him, even if you have to turn this place upside down.” Hunsar conveyed through a Zinger Shriek, “If he’s alive, tell me through a shriek. If he’s dead, I need to see his corpse!”

Hunsar then turned around to stare at Wenka and Rhonya’s sullen faces. “Cheer up, will you?”

“Wins and losses are both a part of life.”

“Easy for you to say,” Wenka let out a forlorn sigh, “You actually held your ground against him. But we have been a disappointment.”

“When he got serious, I…” He felt insulted, having never faced such a setback until now, “I blanked out and was unable to do anything. And before I knew it, I lost consciousness.”

“You can’t expect to win against every fight,” Hunsar shook his head, “We faced the existence who literally created everything we possess. It’ll be surprising if any Clansman without the suffix of Echo can manage to defeat him.”

“Besides,” Hunsar patted Wenka on the shoulder, “You fully toyed with Shuwrak Zahara. He wasn’t a simple opponent either.”

“So, cheer up, alright?” Hunsar also addressed Rhonya, “Both of you simply lack experience. Once you engage in enough battles, you’ll be able to hold yourself better.”

“Still…” Rhonya groaned, “Until the end, Inala didn’t even use his real strength. He only got a tad serious towards the end, but even then, he only used Billakin and Rutham.”

“Our goal is simply to…” Hunsar stopped speaking. There was a prickling sensation on his temples, following which a droplet of sweat dribbled down. He swerved around, trying to figure out the cause.

Quip Zingers were gliding around the place, searching for traces of Inala. The Zinger Aristocrats formed an inner circle and led a team of Quip Zingers each, looping around the region.

Steadily, they flung out the rocks and dirt caused by Hunsar’s landslide, hoping to see where Inala was buried.

“What’s the issue?” Wenka tensed up in response to Hunsar’s behaviour.

“Please tell me it’s just your paranoia…” Rhonya gulped nervously as she got up and expanded her Prana detection means to the limit, failing to detect anything, “I don’t see any reason to worry…”

Thump! Thump!

Hunsar’s pupils dilated as instinctively, he turned around to stare at a mountain far away. There was nothing amiss there. Faint mist swirled near the peak where a Muscl remained asleep. Its eyes lazily gazed at two female Rascls that were ramming into each other in an effort to impress it and become its mating partner.

Nothing seemed amiss. However, his instincts made him focus on the peak. And then, he saw it, a golden flash, “I…”

“N…”

“C…”

The golden flash trailed down the cliff side of the mountain, and partway during its descent, when the gap between two cliff-sides was less than 1.8 kilometres, the golden flash landed on the opposite cliffside and scaled over it.

“O…”

“M…”

“I…”

The golden flash had moved over three mountains by now and had reached halfway up the mountain that was in the centre of the Quip Clan’s encirclement, where the three Gold Grade Quip Clansmen stood.

“N…”

“G…!”

His mouth was open as Hunsar shrieked. His voice was echoing out of his throat, booming across the immediate vicinity of a couple hundred metres. His voice travelled at the speed of sound. The fact that it had only traversed a couple hundred metres implied it had all happened in under a second.

“Incoming!” As Hunsar shouted, a golden fist landed squarely on the side of his jaw, infusing Prana into the jaw that propelled it angularly. As the golden fist moved forth, the force spun the head around the neck, ripping it apart through rotary force.

It was then that a strong skin prickle was registered on his chest. It was supposed to warn him of the invader. However, the attack was faster than the Prana detection means. And that, caused the current situation.

Thud!

Rhonya’s body was immobile, in fear, terrified of the individual before her eyes. His hands were a lustrous gold, humming with a tremendous presence. Steam gust out of him like the Dralh Sea’s Death Hour.

His body was red-hot, so much so that the skin peeled off in patches and flew away like butterflies, carried by the steam. The vapour was a dull crimson, mixed with blood and sweat.

The steaming individual stood within arm’s reach of a headless Hunsar. Reflected in Rhonya’s eyes was the spinning head of Hunsar, one that spun so fast, blood and brain matter sprinkled out of it to form a chakram in the air.

Splosh!

A few seconds passed after that moment as both Wenka and Rhonya flinched upon hearing the thud caused by Hunsar’s head crashing on the ground nearby.

“Urhk!” Rhonya screamed as the ground below her jutted out. It was a fist, which punshed her and Wenka into the sky, where Hunsar caught them and screamed into their ears, “Return to your SENSES!”

“The battle has just begun!” He assumed his Zinger Guard form.

Reaching a height of 108 metres, the entity had two pairs of arms and a robust pair of legs. Its hands reached a length of 40 metres, the shortest of all the Quip Clan’s Gold Grade variants. The claws were surrounded by puffed muscles, making them resemble boxing gloves.

The legs were webbed, with retractable nails resembling a feline. It had a fur coat with a dull brown colour, resembling the earth. Stripes of blue, resembling rivers, meandered vertically across its body.

It had a short tail, barely a metre long, but jutting out of the back of its head were two tendrils. They extended out of the ears and trailed for a distance of fourteen metres. They behaved as feelers, extremely sensitive to traces of Prana, heat, sound, and even behaved as presence detectors.

There was an auxiliary nervous system growing within them, which allowed them to control the body for an instant. This nervous system was extremely fragile and could snap after a single stimulus. However, their commands were instantaneous.

These tendrils allowed the Zinger Guard to react at speeds faster than what its brain or spine could process. After the reaction, the tendrils burn up, and a new batch regrows in their place.

Meant to stand guard and protect the Quip Clan, the Zinger Guard was blessed with the most detection means possible, and also a uniformly distributed strength across its physique. Its throw was the weakest among the Gold Grades in the Quip Clan, but its arms were sturdy enough to engage in a brawl.

The same went true for the rest of its body, allowing it to hold its own even without any Homing Satellites.

“It’s INALA!” Hunsar shouted as he hovered in the sky. A dozen Homing Satellites jutted out of the ground and ganged up on the steaming individual as he glided away in his Zinger Guard form.

’Thankfully, I had an extra life,’ Hunsar thought, breaking out in cold sweat as the experience was still fresh in his mind, of his head getting blown apart like a spinning top and launched into the air.

Thump! Thump!

His body twirled sharply as the tendrils on his head burned up. His body reacted before he could understand what had happened. Standing upon his back was Inala, appearing grotesque as his skin continued to peel off.

’Shit! What has he done? How is he so damn fast?’ Hunsar reverted to human form to evade an attack, watching in horror as Rhonya and Wenka hovered before him in their free fall. An instant later, some force seemed to have accelerated them sharply into the ground.

Boom!

Wenka and Rhonya assumed their Pranic Beast forms, using the robustness to tank the attack. But the shock of the impact caused their eyes to glaze over. It would take them at least a few seconds to recover from the damage and rejoin the fight.

Those few seconds…Hunsar wasn’t confident he could last as he stared at the figure of Inala who hovered before him, at eye level. And then, the level dropped, as Hunsar found himself being propelled towards the ground.

Primary Nature—Homing Satellite!

It was a Homing Satellite made using air, which wrapped around his body and served as a cushion as he crashed into the ground. He ejected himself out of the Homing Satellite, barely evading a golden flash that punctured a hole straight through the Homing Satellite’s defences.

At the moment of impact, Hunsar clearly noticed the golden flash shine blue, ’He shifted to Billakin to destroy my Homing Satellite.’

Only a hole had formed in the Homing Satellite. Therefore, it wasn’t destroyed yet. The moment Inala punctured into it, the Homing Satellite sank into the ground and made the ground a part of its body, trapping Inala within it.

Boom!

“Gimme…one second…!” Hunsar cursed as he watched the Homing Satellite get blown into pieces. And strangely, the pieces were launched towards him.

Kriek!

’That’s a Roshmon’s power!’ Hunsar understood upon hearing the Zinger Shriek from the Quip Zingers who had analysed the fight from afar.

Boom!

Inala’s hands turned into a golden blur and broke the ground into thousands of rocks. And then, all the rocks were launched into the sky. Horrifyingly, each rock was launched at a Quip Zinger.

Secondary Nature—Infused Kinesis Touch!

Secondary Nature—Weapon Hands!

Combined, he could harness the effects of Gold Kinesis Art through Mystic Sumatra Art, albeit upon the addition of a special Skill to it.

Mystic Sumatra Art—Spirit Weapon Switch!

Over 120 stones were launched using the power of Infused Kinesis Touch, one after another, with each maintained as a Spirit Weapon for an instant. These stones were like bullets, as the power of psychokinesis was boosted thanks to Kinesis Deity. And then…

Ratatata!

It was like a machine gun being fired, as if rain was thundering upon the place.
