Chapter 1016: Against Inala’s Wishes
B-Boom!
Explosions resounded across the place as Quip Zingers collapsed to the ground, sporting holes at various spots on their bodies. Some of the unfortunate ones got hit on the head and died. The healing capacity of Prana at Iron Grade wasn’t strong enough to regenerate the head.
Even at the Gold Grade, only Advance and Expert Gold Grade Pranic Beasts possessed the regeneration means to regrow a chopped-off head. For the rest, even though their Prana would try to regenerate their head, their organs would fail before that.
A Zinger Aristocrat reverted to human form in the sky and used a string of Prana to coil around an incoming projectile and spun her body. With it, she redirected the stone back at Inala. However, the stone had just been launched by her when the target had vanished.
The Zinger Aristocrat looked around in a flurry when suddenly, she felt a skin prickle, only then noticing a golden hand had grabbed her by the leg. It was a Spirit Weapon, severed from Inala and maintained at a range of 300 metres.
Upon making contact, the golden hand flung her into a flock of Quip Zingers. There was a crash, and then like bowling pins, the Quip Zingers were scattered into the sky.
Boom!
“W-W-What is happening?” Rhonya coughed out blood, having barely gathered her bearings. Her face revealed fear as she watched Quip Zingers descend from the sky, free-falling to their deaths as some mysterious force propelled them to their doom.
Splat!
On the ground stood Inala, silently listening to the bodies of the Quip Zingers getting splattered one after another. Steam stopped being emitted by his body as the muscles quivered.
Primary Nature—Kinesis Deity!
Secondary Naure—Infused Kinesis Touch!
Mystic Sumatra Art—Kinesis Weapon!
The combination of these three allowed Inala to move at the same speed as a Spirit Weapon controlled by a Brimgan Royal—a golden flash.
It was how he could move at such a ridiculous speed that made it extremely difficult for his opponents to target him. At least against a Brimgan Royal, only the Spirit Weapon would be moving at such a speed.
A decently competent Prana detection method would be able to sense the stream of Prana controlling the Spirit Weapon using psychokinesis. Therefore, even if it was hard to spot the Spirit Weapon itself, by observing the stream of Prana’s behaviour, it was possible to infer the Spirit Weapon’s movements.
The Panger Race could easily achieve this feat, which was why they had managed to kill Brimgan Royals in the past. Of course, for a majority of the other existences, the infamous quote of the Brimgan Royalty held true through the test of time.
“If you see a golden flash, forget resistance, for your head would already be rolling on the ground.”
Through the streams of Prana, it became possible to somewhat predict the movements of a Brimgan Royal’s Spirit Weapon. However, Inala himself was moving, while at the same time controlling a Spirit Weapon too.
This made prediction impossible, which was why the Quip Clan struggled to do anything. And even if they could somehow manage to make a prediction, it didn’t matter. For there was Infused Kinesis Touch.
As long as they were within 1.8 kilometres of Inala, they could suddenly be propelled into the ground or any obstacle of Inala’s choice.
“Phew,” Moving his body at such speeds came at a price, as Inala exhaled slowly and allowed his Prana to heal his battered body. A new layer of skin began to form on him as Inala extended his hand and used Infused Kinesis Touch!
The Gold Biome Bomb used by Rhonya was propelled into his grasp. It released four tendrils of Prana, intending to push itself away from Inala. However, the force propelling it brought it into contact with his hand.
Infused Kinesis Touch could push the body of even an Empyrean Tusk by a metre. Boosted by Kinesis Deity allowed Inala to push and pull even the body of an Empyrean Tusk by many metres. Even when it exerted all its weight, unless it was made out of Attributed Water, the Gold Biome Bomb couldn’t escape Inala’s grasp.
There was a flash, as the body of the Gold Biome Bome was broken down and reconstructed before much of the contents within could spill out. It was forced to revert to its original size the moment Inala broke it down.
The space expansion created a powerful gale but was quickly minimized when the Gold Biome Bomb shrunk back to fist size. It had already been turned into Inala’s Spirit Weapon. ’Even with the aid of Kinesis Deity, I wasn’t fast enough. Around twenty percent of Prana was wasted.’
A pile of earth littered the ground. It had spilt out of the Gold Biome Bomb. Since the terrain had come out of the Biome Bomb, the Prana forming it began to dissipate. Soon, it would revert to a normal terrain.
Since the Gold Biome Bomb was now his Spirit Weapon, Inala could use it to absorb Prana from the spilt terrain on the ground. However, he didn’t want to waste time and caused all the tendrils of the Biome Bomb to latch onto him and seep Prana into his body.
He began to recover the amount he had expended in the recent attack.
The Gold Biome Bomb was his Spirit Weapon. However, if Inala were to turn his hands into it, he would only get a Silver Biome Bomb, same as before. So, he couldn’t produce Gold Biome Bombs on his own, as that was only possible through Mystic Royalty, which was a Royal Zinger exclusive power.
If that power were to appear, it meant the Royal Zinger could exercise its will through it. This was especially dangerous to Inala, as the grey tower was in his mind space. The moment he were to obtain some power belonging to the Royal Zinger, the Royal Zinger Inala might use it to further invade his being and increase the cracks on the grey tower.
“But you dare threaten my life?” Inala scowled as he pulled Rhonya towards him using Infused Kinesis Touch.
“Aack!” Rhonya used her Inhibition Bomb to protect herself, no longer being pulled away. However, she had blinked once and Inala stood before her, “You…said you wouldn’t kill…”
A dozen golden flashes occurred in a second, causing a deep dent in the Zinger Princess’s head.
“I said I wouldn’t kill,” Inala said and released a couple dozen more flashes, “But I never promised it.”
The Zinger Princess’s head splattered. And standing on a pile of blood and brain matter was Inala, drawing in a deep breath as he roared, “If you continue your attempt to kill me, all you’ll contribute is to add to my kill count.”
Inala frowned as a Prison Bomb surrounded him; strings of Prana latched onto him. A layer of dust formed over him quickly, intending to constrict him.
“Damn you!” Wenka cursed in anger upon staring at Rhonya’s corpse next to Inala, “I’ll KILL…”
A Homing Satellite crashed into him, cutting off his words. Wenka reverted to human form, protected himself with a Prison Bomb, and jumped out by using the gaps of the Homing Satellite, only to see Inala waiting for him.
“Stop…” His cry was futile, as a hold was blasted open in his head.
There was a soft thud, as Inala turned his gaze to focus on Hunsar, “You wanted to know how I would fight against an enemy, right?”
“This is how I do it.” As he said, hundreds of Prana Bombs took to the sky. Inala had been gathering all the stray Prana Bombs as he flashed around the place until now. Using Infused Kinesis Touch, he collected them, and relied on the Gold Biome Bomb to absorb all the Prana within them.
The Prana used in Infused Kinesis Touch was mostly absorbed by the Prana Bombs. Once Inala absorbed them all, he had a large pile of empty Prana Bombs, which were now propelled at Hunsar.
Boom!
The slammed into the Homing Satellite that appeared before Hunsar, 120 of them in total. In a matter of seconds, they sucked the Homing Satellite dry of Prana. Inala propelled them towards each other to form a cluster and spun them in the air.
Hunsar hadn’t left Inala’s Spirit Weapon range, so targeting him was easy. Even otherwise, Inala could propel himself to the sky by lodging a Spirit Weapon into the ground. This would allow him to stand at a height of 1.8 kilometres in the air, from where he could reach another 1.8 kilometres into the sky.
Mystic Sumatra Art—Spirit Weapon Switch!
This to this, Inala was able to move and fight without issues. The mental strain from controlling 120 Spirit Weapons was nothing. Because he had three sets of internal organs. When the first set got tired, the second set took its place, and so on. By the time his Primary Nature voluntarily switched to the first set, his Prana had already healed it.
As a Body aspect Primary Nature, Inala couldn’t control it through his mind. However, he could control it through the body. If he were to exhaust his current set, the Nature would naturally switch to the next set.
Inala could simply extend the number of Spirit Weapons he controlled using Spirit Weapon Switch to exhaust an internal organ set as quickly as possible. He had trained and collated enough data to know exactly how much he had to exert himself to tire out the organ set in a specific timeframe.
“Your own powers, against you,” Inala uttered as the Prana Bombs specifically targeted Hunsar. The Prana Bombs that had become full piled next to his feet as the Gold Biome Bomb absorbed the Prana in them.
Once empty, they joined the storm that kept bombarding Hunsar.
Thud! Boom! T-Thud! B-Boom!
Infused Kinesis Touch targeted him the moment Hunsar exposed a weakness, reeling him towards the ground. He used a Homing Satellite made out of wind to cushion the impact, and then shuddered to see a group of Homing Satellites surround him.
They had all fallen into Inala’s control with the usage of Billakin. ’Rutham and Billakin…what a frightening combo!’
Kriek!
A dozen Zinger Aristocrats unleashed Zinger Shrieks nonstop and used their strings of Prana to seep into the ground and push against it, for Infused Kinesis Touch was forcing them into the ground. As they struggled, their Tangible Piezo Slips targeted Inala.
[Sleep!]
However, they took no effect as a Silver Biome Bomb manifested above Inala’s head and absorbed the sound waves part of the Tangible Piezo Slips.
“You need to make them resonate with the target’s ability, not the body.” Inala pointed at his Silver Biome Bomb, “Otherwise, it’s damn easy to counter them.”
“Aren’t I correct?” Inala asked as he turned into a golden flash, punched Hunsar into the ground, and stood on the Zinger Guard’s chest. His presence spiked as Inala glared with a foul expression, “Any last words?”
“Yeah,” Hunsar said just that and revealed a bright smile, ’You might be Inala, but you’re not the Royal Zinger Inala.’
“Speak,” Inala changed his left hand into Naran and forced Hunsar to talk, “Why are you smiling?”
“Your actions made things easier for us, Sir.” Hunsar chuckled, “The present scenario is one of the many our Representative said was beneficial for the Quip Clan.”
“So, you have our gratitude.”
