Chapter 1054: 1054 Until The Crew’s All Here

Cassie stepped to the microphone to get the announcement started.

“Welcome, everyone, and thank you for all the warm well wishes. It is a dream to have made the Saint Rank today, one that the young Witches here couldn’t have even imagined a few short years ago.

Now, we have made such wonderful new friends and have built an entirely new city filled with hope and magic.

I would like to make a special note of congratulations to everyone who awakened their magic today, especially those who thought that they would never have the chance to join the ranks of the magic users of Forest Grove.

For too long, the Bloodline Curse kept the magic of the people repressed, and now that it is fading, we look forward to many such breakthroughs in the future, both for our residents and their children.

The majority of our new Saints are Witches, but we have also welcomed our first homegrown Demon Overlords, and one of them is still a young woman.”

The crowd laughed at that. Calling Nimue a young woman was being very generous. With the power of the Pentacles, she had quickly balanced in power with the others, but the hybrid demon princess was still very much a girl and not a grown adult.

“I believe that most of the Witches would prefer to opt out of the individual speeches, but we have nominated Risa to speak on behalf of the Demon Pentacle by popular vote of the other Demons.” She continued.

The Wrathbringer glared down at Cassie. “I don’t recall a vote.”

“That’s because the other four voted for you, so we didn’t need a tiebreaker.”

Risa sighed and took Cassie’s place at the microphone.

“Good afternoon, everyone. I know that most of you are not familiar with the particulars of Demon Society, so you may not know how big of an honour it was for us all to be chosen as guards and companions to Saint Noxus.

Even without the promise of power, the position as a Saint’s bodyguard is one of the greatest honours in the Wrath Kingdom, especially for someone like me who lacks Noble lineage and gained their status through pure martial might.

The Princesses here in the city all came from differing backgrounds and different Kingdoms, but I can confidently say that none of them regret the day that they were chosen to join Saint Noxus in Forest Grove.

Not that he makes my job easy, constantly running off without an escort on last-second missions, but the job is still rewarding.

Ella’s knowing smirk grew even larger as she took the podium position on the stage, and Wolfe knew for certain that it had something to do with him.

“Good afternoon, everyone. I believe that this announcement should explain why we kept the party on hold for so long. In addition to the advancements to Saint, we have some wonderful news to share with you.”

Cassie stepped up beside Ella, and they both smiled out at the crowd.

“We would like to announce the first two potential heirs to the Noxus Family Patriarchy. Both Cassie and I discovered when we advanced that we are, in fact, one week pregnant and that the children are both boys who carry the Noxus Family gene.

We are certain they will be strong young Magi, and we wanted to share the good news with the city at the same time that Papa Wolfe found out.”

The crowd went absolutely insane as Wolfe pulled his two consorts into a careful hug. Pregnancy probably didn’t make them fragile, but he wasn’t going to risk anything.

“Speech, speech, speech!” The crowd was cheering.

Wolfe stepped to the microphone. “I don’t know what to say. This is the most wonderful sort of surprise that I could have hoped for. Not just one, but both of my lovely brides are with child at the same time and close enough together that the boys can grow up very much like twins.

I grew up as an only child, though I was adopted into the larger Noxus Family’s main home after my parents passed. Those years growing up and working for the Noxus Family’s head, who I still call my Uncle, were all precious memories to me. So, it will be a great pleasure to see our children growing up in a city full of loving and supportive family members.”

Wolfe paused, overcome with emotion, and gave both of the Witches a kiss while still holding them in his arms.

Risa escorted them back a few steps and took the podium again.

“I don’t expect that we will see those three again tonight, as they have some personal matters to attend to.” She joked, barely audible above the cheering and shouting of the crowd.

“Now, let’s get this party started!”
