Chapter 6297: An Expert Never Seen Before
Chapter 6297: An Expert Never Seen Before
Anger blazed in Jie Tianran’s eyes as he spat through gritted teeth, “It’s you and that bastard father of yours. You drove my daughter, who I bore high hopes for, to attack her own father. You two ruined my everything.”
“That’s my mother’s doing?” Chu Feng asked.
He could tell that it was not that Jie Tianran didn’t want to heal that sword wound but that he was unable to do so. Whoever was behind the sword wound had to be stronger than him.
“Hahahaha!”
Jie Tianran suddenly burst into laughter, but his laughter was chilling. His boundless fury could be felt. He laughed for a while before turning to Chu Feng, “How sharp were my eyes? Ranqing could have become peerless. Were she still around, God’s Era’s powers would be hers to take. Those Ancient Era’s races would be mere ants. No one would be a match for our Seven Realms Sacred Mansion. No one would be qualified to be our enemy!”
Long Zhuoyan glanced at Chu Feng as if asking ‘What’s with your mother?’
Jie Tian’s mouth opened agape.
Anyone could tell that Jie Tianran’s injury was inflicted by Chu Feng’s mother. This meant that Chu Feng’s mother was stronger than Jie Tianran, perhaps even by a huge margin.
“Our Seven Realms Sacred Mansion could have unified the world of cultivation a long time ago, but your father and you ruined it all. Your father made my filial daughter defy me, and your birth made her point her sword at me. All I said was that if you inherited her bloodline, I’ll reclaim the bloodline for her use.
“To protect you, she expended her life force to awaken her Ruler’s Bloodline. She shouldn’t have been able to do it at her age, but she pulled it off. But little did I know that her first target after awakening her bloodline would be none other than the father who doted on her the most! You beast, Chu Feng! This is all because of you!” Jie Tianran glared at Chu Feng with vile eyes.
This was humiliating to him. He had bottled up this pain for many years, but he was finally revealing them. He told the truth to Chu Feng because he thought that Chu Feng would fall into despair upon realizing that he had worried about his mother in vain.
“Where is my mother now?” Chu Feng asked once more.
He couldn’t care less about Jie Tianran’s anger. All he was concerned about was his mother.
“Do you remember what I said earlier? I’m not worried about you coming after me. My only fear is that you would enter the Ninth Galaxy,” Jie Tianran said.
Chu Feng widened his eyes in realization.
“My mother has entered the Ninth Galaxy?” Chu Feng asked.
“I knew from the moment your mother awakened her bloodline that I wouldn’t be able to do anything about you and your father, so I played a trick to mislead her into thinking that you and your father have entered the Ninth Galaxy, so that she would head there on her own accord.
“I’ll head to the Ninth Galaxy too once I obtain God’s Era’s power. With you in my hands, Ranqing would have no choice but to obey me. Chu Feng, do you finally understand how foolish you have been?” Jie Tianran looked at Chu Feng with frenzied eyes.
It delighted him to be able to inflict pain on Chu Feng. Even to this day, he could still remember Jie Ranqing’s resolute eyes when she pointed her sword at him.
He knew that Jie Ranqing did cherish her family ties with him, but he couldn’t accept the fact that her most important person had been shifted from him to Chu Feng.
Thus, he wanted Chu Feng to know that he could have long entered the Ninth Galaxy to reunite with his mother, but his foolishness had reduced him to a tool for him to control Jie Ranqing. He wanted Chu Feng to suffer in pain.
“So, my little brother’s mother is in the Ninth Galaxy?” Long Zhuoyan asked.
That question caused Jie Tianran’s expression to stiffen up. He instinctively realized that something was off.
The pained look on Long Zhuoyan’s face disappeared, replaced with a beaming smile.
Whoosh!
With a wave of her sleeves, the spirit power protecting Long Zhuoyan and Chu Feng morphed into a massive spirit power scythe that severed all of the surrounding spirit power chains.
“You... concealed your strength?” Jie Tianran gritted his teeth.
He was infuriated not merely because Long Zhuoyan hid her strength but also at his own carelessness. He was overconfident in his judgment.
“Who are you?” Jie Tianran began reassessing Long Zhuoyan.
“Who am I? If I was at my peak condition, I could have spared myself the trouble of coming here. All it would take is a glance from me in the neighboring galaxy to obliterate your Seven Realms Sacred Mansion.”
Long Zhuoyan narrowed her eyes.
Jie Tianran shuddered at the sight of her gaze. Jie Tian felt like his head had exploded, and blood spurted from his mouth and nose.
“Don’t look into her eyes!” Jie Tianran quickly covered Jie Tian’s eyes, but the latter’s face was already ghastly pale. “This is our Seven Realms Sacred Mansion’s internal affair. Why are you interfering in it?”
He tried his best to remain composed, but his airs had weakened tremendously.
Long Zhuoyan’s gaze made him realize that he had offended someone he shouldn’t have.
It was just a normal gaze, yet it harnessed such destructive prowess. Only the true powerhouses in the past commanded such power. On top of it all, her eyes were brimming with confidence.
This made him realize that she was not bragging; she was the real deal.
“You still don’t get it? Chu Feng is my little brother, and I have come today to redress his grievances. I might be nowhere near my peak at the moment and an earlier battle has greatly weakened me, but it’s still more than enough to deal with a small fry like you.”
Long Zhuoyan waved her sleeves as she remotely sent a slap over.
Jie Tianran quickly formed hand seals and instantaneously constructed multiple barriers around him. Each barrier resembled a shield, and each layer was stronger than the previous.
Yet, Long Zhuoyan’s palm strike was so powerful that it easily shattered the shields as if they were no more than tofu. In the end, the slap still landed squarely on Jie Tianran’s face.
By the time Jie Tian snapped out of it, Jie Tianran was already no longer beside him. The latter had been slapped out of view.
Even Chu Feng was astonished. He had known that his big sister was strong, but he didn’t expect her to be this powerful.
Jie Tian froze up in fear. He had never tasted such despair before. Without a doubt, the woman beside Chu Feng was the strongest person he had ever met!
