The white-robed Long Chen had torn open the sky of the dragon scale world, leaving a massive gash in its barrier. At first, people hesitated to approach it, wary of the unknown. But as time passed and no immediate catastrophe struck, countless figures surged toward the opening.
Though the dragon scale world had not collapsed, its self-repair was sluggish.
After all, the white-robed Long Chen was too terrifying, and the laws contained within his attack had crippled the dragon scale world’s regenerative abilities. Now, as the gap lingered, opportunists recognized it as a weak point. If they breached it, Long Chen would be in grave danger.
“We’re moving!”
Xia Chen decisively took action, sending the Ten Thousand Dragon Nest toward the fracture. Fortunately, the flaming dragon blood runes were working to mend the fracture, but time was of the essence.
“Let’s take out the Heavenly Demon Alliance first. They’re the ones rushing in,” proposed Gu Yang.
“They really are fools,” Guo Ran scoffed. “The smarter factions knew better than to attack this spot, understanding they’d have to go through us first. But these idiots think they’re the only ones who noticed the opening. They didn’t even stop to consider the consequences.”
Had the demon race been smarter, they might have delayed their attack, forcing the stronger factions to make a move first. But their impatience had sealed their fate.
As the Ten Thousand Dragon Nest shot toward the Heaven Demon Alliance, Hou Tianwu sneered. “The coward Long Chen hides in the dragon scale’s space, and he’s sending his lackeys to die in his place! Today, we will annihilate the Dragonblood Legion!”
“Heaven Demon Alliance, we’ll crush the Dragonblood Legion! We’ll teach this world to shake in fear in front of us!” added Xiang Tu.The war cries of the demon leaders filled the battlefield, their confidence soaring. This battle would mark their resurgence. It just so happened that the Dragonblood Legion’s arrival was a perfect target for them to establish their fame.
Millions and millions of demon experts immediately stopped attacking the fracture and charged at the Ten Thousand Dragon Nest.
“First, we’ll shatter that tortoise shell of theirs!” Hou Tianwu shouted, his nine core veins flying behind him.
BOOM!
Without warning, space ruptured before him, and a colossal claw slammed into his body, sending him hurtling through the air.
“Who was that?!”
The demon experts reeled in shock as the void twisted. After that, an enormous, majestic figure materialized before them.
Nine massive tails rose like banners to the sky, and a pair of violet eyes blazed like twin suns, exuding an overwhelming, ancient might.
A nine-tailed demon fox was blocking their path.
“It’s the Violet Pupil Nine Tail Fox!”
When the demon race’s experts saw Little Nine’s true form and sensed its overflowing demonic qi, they were all shocked.
“Heavenly Demon Golden Monkey race, you shameless traitors, it’s time you pay your blood debt!” Little Nine roared.
Little Nine’s killing intent exploded, and lines of blood filled its violet eyes. In an instant, its enormous body appeared within the ranks of the Heavenly Demon Golden Monkey race.
“Nine-Tail Slaughter!”
Nine spheres of violet radiance manifested at the tips of its tails, rapidly expanding.
“Dodge!” Hou Tianwu bellowed, his expression darkening as recognition flashed across his face.
This was one of the Violet Pupil Nine-Tail Fox race’s forbidden arts. Hou Tianwu moved like lightning to prevent it, but he was a moment too late.
An enormous sphere of light fell from the nine tails, falling within the ranks of the Heavenly Demon Golden Monkey race.
BOOM!
The explosion rivaled the birth of a new sun, its brilliance consuming the battlefield. Space twisted, and the very laws of the world shattered before the violet power.
As the wave of divine light spread, it was possible to see a figure holding it back. A golden staff was embedded in the earth, its runes forming a barrier that protected a portion of the Heavenly Demon Golden Monkey race.
Hou Tianwu reacted quickly, but he couldn’t save everyone. Tens of thousands of his subordinates survived, but tens of millions had perished.
Hou Tianwu’s face contorted with rage. Countless corpses of the Heavenly Demon Golden Monkey race lay strewn across the ground. The sheer devastation was staggering. Only the strongest among them had left behind remains; the rest had been utterly obliterated, reduced to nothingness.
“Nine Tail race!” Hou Tianwu roared furiously, almost going insane.
His golden staff crackled with divine lightning as he transformed into a streak of destruction, lunging at Little Nine with murderous intent.
“Angry, are you?” Little Nine’s voice rumbled like a storm; its violet eyes burned with hatred. “Do you know how many of my kin were slaughtered by dirty traitors from your race? Do you understand the rage that has burned within me all these years?”
With a furious snarl, Little Nine opened its mouth, gathering a terrifying concentration of violet energy. In an instant, it unleashed a bolt of divine light straight at Hou Tianwu.
BOOM!
Hou Tianwu’s golden staff smashed into the divine light, shattering it, but the impact sent him hurtling backward.
Flames ignited around Hou Tianwu and Little Nine as their core veins burned at full power. This was no mere battle—it was a reckoning, a war between old enemies who knew only one of them would leave alive.
Hou Tianwu’s body swelled as he summoned his heroic spirits, growing to match Little Nine’s colossal size. His golden staff transformed into a divine pillar that smashed down with titanic force.
Little Nine didn’t wield a weapon—it didn’t need one. Its nine floating tails were harder than divine iron, and they crossed together to block the staff.
BOOM!
The impact forced Little Nine’s massive body to the ground, and the ground beneath its feet collapsed.
But just as it withstood the blow, its head shot forward.
CHOMP!
Its fangs pierced through Hou Tianwu’s armor, sinking deep into the flesh.
Hou Tianwu bellowed in pain, trying to wrench himself free, but Little Nine refused to let go. Its nine tails lashed out like divine whips, striking all over him. Then, the two combatants wrestled violently, rolling across the battlefield in a storm of destruction.
Their bloody struggle sent shockwaves across the battlefield, forcing weaker experts to flee in terror. The two behemoths tumbled across the land before finally breaking apart, only to lunge at each other once more.
Despite their immense size, they were very agile. Each collision rang out like a thunderclap that shook the heavens.
Hou Tianwu and Little Nine seemed to have gone insane. In just a moment, their blood flowed like rivers. They were trying to kill each other as fast as possible.
“Ignore him! Continue onward!” Xiang Tu shouted.
The appearance of the Violet Pupil Nine Tail Fox caught the Heaven Demon Alliance off-guard. Seeing Hou Tianwu locked in battle, Xiang Tu roared and charged toward the Dragonblood Legion, his elephant tusk spear aimed for the kill.
BOOM!
Suddenly, a gust of astral winds struck, and a spear intercepted his path with overwhelming force. The collision sent Xiang Tu staggering backward, his arms trembling from the impact.
“Long Chen's subordinate, the first captain of the Dragonblood Legion, Gu Yang—here to teach you a lesson!” Gu Yang shouted.
Gu Yang’s towering figure stood like an unshakable mountain before Xiang Tu, his spear gleaming with battle intent.
