Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System
Chapter 496 - 496: Learning About His PastVexthra continued to stare at Kent’s face for close to two whole minutes, not knowing what to say.
It was surreal that someone respected and revered in the immortal and god worlds was now smiling at her with a mischievous look on his face.
Lord Genesis, or as most people knew him, the Slave Swordsman, was someone everyone respected. The legacy he left behind was one that nobody could measure up to—not even celestials.
As the first ever to rise to the peak of weapon cultivation, his name was known by all. So she most certainly didn’t expect the said Lord Genesis to be staring at her at this moment.
“Are you being serious?” Vexthra asked.
“Why would I lie to you? This is indeed one of my incarnations,” Kent said with a smile. “Are you shocked?”
“Well, it’s not exactly every day you meet an idol of many gods,” Vexthra said, smiling behind her veil. “Even I was part of those gods.”
Kent chuckled, knowing this would be weird if he one day got to the higher worlds.
“Tell me about this Lord Genesis.” They still had some time before they reached the entrance. This meant they had more than enough time to learn more about his past self, so he asked.
He had already started learning about his past self and knew quite a lot, but hearing from an outside perspective could go a long way.
And while this could be considered Vexthra telling him about his past, like how she did for the Dragon Lord, which was also Kent’s past self—
This time, there wouldn’t be backlashes simply because what she knew was public knowledge. The laws wouldn’t penalize him.
“I personally don’t know much about him, but from the little I do know, Lord Genesis was the first ever to touch the Sword Dao.
It was he who first saw the path beyond the Sword King stage, which, according to weapon cultivation, is the point where one touches the Dao.
Before him, the highest one could rise was the king’s stage. However, he transcended that limit.
It was said that he carved the foundation of all other sword paths, and while he was a swordsman, he contributed greatly to other weapon paths like the bow, spear, lance, and others.
You would have to get inside the Supreme Library and read the sealed archives, which are basically inaccessible, even to me, who is a god.
But his legend is known by many, and while you can find some bits and pieces here and there, he has done a lot over his life.”
“I see. Sounds like that brat was some big shot, huh?” Kent smiled, closing his eyes as he recalled his life back when he was Lord Genesis.
“Tell me, do you know where he was from and whether that place is still standing?” Kent asked. He most definitely would want to visit that world when he gets to the high worlds.
“If what is recorded is true, then he is from a world called Byrmrr. Back then, it was a high world, but now it seems to have transcended and become a unique world.
This was so that gods and others who can’t enter high worlds freely can enter and learn more about their idol.”
“I see. That is great,” Kent said, feeling a weight lifted off his chest.
Knowing the world he was born in during his life, as Jest was still standing, made him happy. This was all he was looking forward to for now.
“Another thing. Byrmrr has another name. They call it the Sword World simply because it still has the sword left behind by Lord Genesis.
This isn’t a rumor—it’s actually in that world, and from what I know, nobody has been able to remove it for billions of years.”
Kent narrowed his gaze, hearing this.
“Though I don’t know much about my life as Jest, this doesn’t sound like something I would do. Perhaps I should visit that world and learn more about it,” Kent said, knowing deep down, he most certainly wouldn’t do something like that.
It just doesn’t feel like him. So he had to find out, and from what he already knew, getting to that world would be much more ideal.
“Let’s not get ahead of ourselves, shall we?” Vexthra smiled behind her veil.
“Unique worlds are those that don’t have limitations on them. Though there are only a few, they house some of the most dangerous cultivators in the world.
The limitation that prevents us gods from freely descending isn’t present there, so we can descend and freely use our powers.
This means you can easily meet a god, and if they don’t like your smile, they’ll squash you like a bug. You may not know this, but not all gods can think straight—some are unhinged.
So perhaps rise to the ranks of a Spirit Lord or even higher. That way, I can help you investigate this if you still want to when you get there.”
Kent nodded. The last thing he wanted was to get squashed by a god just because they didn’t like the way he smiled.
“I still can’t believe you are Lord Genesis,” Vexthra said, but Kent just smiled.
“Though I don’t like to brag, if my being Lord Genesis is a shock to you, then wait till you find out about my other incarnations.” Kent didn’t want to jinx it, but he most certainly couldn’t wait to uncover the secrets of his past selves.
“How many incarnations do you have?” Vexthra asked, sounding hesitant. She didn’t want to provoke the laws, so she hesitated.
“I have thirteen incarnations. But I only know of three. However, to avoid angering the laws, I won’t tell you.”
Vexthra nodded, knowing what he said was indeed the case. The laws exist to ensure that some things remain hidden until they are meant to be known.
“It’s our turn now,” Kent said, walking out.
He handed their fees to the guards, and then they entered the city. The guards didn’t even ask about his identity, considering a powerful aura had washed over them the moment it reached their turn.
They would have been surrounded if they had suspected even a trace of Kent on them.
“Let’s visit the Silver Leaf Auction House first.” Kent led Vexthra toward the auction house.
