Summoners War: Only I Summoned Divine Beasts

“God of Valkyrja.”

Brunhild turned into an eight-winged valkyrie. She leaped forward with a speed that made it look like she disappeared to the naked eye.

She only slowed down the moment she reached the alien. Obviously, the aliens could sense her and hurriedly tried to surround her.

However, Brunhild was fast.

She hacked, she slashed, and she thrust. One by one, the alien was falling down, unable to stop her spear even just for a moment.

There were multiple aliens coming at the same time, but Brunhild simply waved her spear and sliced them in two.

Her movement was precise. Every strike was deadly, not giving the alien any opportunity.

Sadly, her momentum had to stop.

“!!!” Brunhild widened her eyes and glanced to the side, finding the warrior class alien moving so fast that it was already right before her.

Brunhild hurriedly shifted her stance to take on the attack as the alien waved both claws, but surprisingly, a translucent barrier suddenly formed in front of her, deflecting the two claws before getting shattered.

Raphael harrumphed as if telling both her and the alien that his barrier would block any type of attack.

Brunhild was shocked once again and instinctively leaped back as a black magic circle appeared underneath the alien.

“I’m here too, you know.” Asmodeus smirked. “I desire punishment from hell.”

Suddenly, the black circle shot out a purple translucent pillar.

“Shaaa!’ The alien screamed in pain as its skin looked like it was burned by the purple light. Still, the alien managed to endure the pain and smashed the ground along with the magic circle.

This magic circle was nothing but a distraction, a way to stop the alien. Once it was destroyed, the alien would find Brunhild already waiting for him.

She struck the alien, who managed to twist its body at the last moment. However, it wasn’t enough. Brunhild sliced through his left arm.

She had to deal with this alien as quickly as possible for that promise. Unfortunately, the aliens didn’t share that idea.

“Tsk!” Brunhild clicked her tongue. In front of her were several aliens. On the other hand, behind her was the warrior class alien who regenerated its arm almost in an instant, allowing him to reach Brunhild.

Brunhild could slash the aliens in front of her, but the warrior class alien could grasp her. Hence, Brunhild struck the alien’s hand with her spear, deflecting it. Meanwhile, she formed a magic circle with her other hand to block the remaining aliens.

However, several whip-like lights emerged from thin air and purple chains came out of the ground, restraining all these aliens.

After deflecting the warrior class alien, Brunhild hurriedly spun her body and used that momentum to slice the restrained aliens.

The muscle of the humanoid alien suddenly expanded and bulged uncontrollably as it threw another punch at Brunhild.

“!!!” Brunhild wouldn’t be fast enough to deflect this punch with her spear. She extended her hand.

Raphael’s barrier appeared again, reducing the impact of the fist. Still, the punch was so strong that it shattered his barrier and still continued to Brunhild. The latter was forced to use her other hand to catch the punch, but that force actually dislocated her wrist and cracked several of her fingers.

Fortunately, Brunhild was able to deflect the punch at the last moment, which actually turned the area into a crater.

Then she spun her body and kicked the alien’s stomach, launching him away.

Meanwhile, Raphael was healing Brunhild’s injury. Although his speed was slightly slower than Anubis’s, he was able to heal her without much trouble.

Still, even though Brunhild was fired up, fighting a warrior class alien was easier said than done. In addition, the aliens were smart enough to go around her and focus on Sera, Asmodeus, and Raphael instead.

She wanted to go back, but the humanoid alien had already thrown another punch, forcing her to leap away from the group.

“…” Brunhild squinted her eyes.

This humanoid alien had managed to isolate her.

Brunhild had no choice but to leap forward, trying to create a path. The humanoid alien waved its claws, punched her, and even used its wing to suppress her.

A series of clicking sounds filled the air. Their fierce fight looked equal, but it took Brunhild everything to stop him alone.

The alien had a much superior strength compared to her. Even with Sera’s Synchronization, she could barely deflect its attack.

‘At this rate, I will remain the same…’ Brunhild bit her lips. She was still too weak to even face a warrior class alien by herself. It frustrated her more because she had promised she would become strong enough to be Nathan’s spear.

‘No. I refuse to be useless. Recall, Brunhild. Not only with your mind but also your body. Your master has shown the path for you!’ Brunhild gritted her teeth. The memory of various battles flashed in her mind. Every time Nathan guided her on the battlefield, the battle became easier.

She saw the alien punching her from the top left and immediately ducked. Normally, she would find a way to repel the attack, but this time, it was a bit different.

Brunhild landed a kick on the alien’s calf, forcing the alien to take a step backward. Still, the latter managed to throw another punch under such circumstances.

Instead of running away, Brunhild struck it with her spear, carrying every ounce of her strength.

She managed to deflect it, but she lost her grip on the spear. Having a hard time clenching her fists, Brunhild opened her hands as a magic circle appeared on both palms. She then joined the arms together and struck the alien’s stomach with her palms. The magic circle amplified her power and released a white light, knocking the alien up into the air as it spat a mouthful of blood.

With Raphael’s ability, she could finally hold her spear again and this time, she wanted to take it down even without Asmodeus’ powerful magic.

Little did she know, Asmodeus was completely overwhelming the aliens. There were numerous magic circles around him, annihilating the aliens.

“It seems I have been underestimated, and you’re going to pay for it dearly.” Asmodeus grinned.
