System's POV

Chapter 957 - 957: You Are A Very Ambitious Princess

“I missed you so much, Zion,” Shana pulled her lover into a hug, then kissed his lips. The couple only pulled away from each other after one of them was out of breath.

“I love you so much,” Shana said.

Thirteen tightened his grip around his lover’s waist. “I love you, too, Shana,” he replied. And this time, he took the initiative to kiss the Saintess.

The moment they were inside his room. She had already made sure that the door was locked, and knowing there was no way for outsiders to see them, the young lady no longer had to hold herself back any longer.

There were countless things she wanted to do to Zion. If not for the fact that the young man was not yet fully recovered, she might have already tossed him on the bed and made love to him until his hips started aching.

“I’ll use recovery on you now, okay?” Shana said as she pulled the young man closer to her, resting his head on her chest.

She then placed her hand on the back of his head and used her power to boost his recovery rate.

Thirteen felt a gentle warmth wash over his body.

Although his restrictions limited the effect of Shana’s healing ability, it was still enough to make him feel very comfortable.

As if to prove that point, a sigh escaped his lips as he enjoyed the warmth and softness only the Saintess could make him feel.

Erica glanced at her lover before shifting her gaze to Princess Aracelle, who was looking at Zion and Shana with a calm expression on her face.

However, deep inside, the Princess wished she could trade places with Shana and be the one to pamper the teenage boy in her loving embrace.

“Can I call you Aracelle?” Erica asked.

“You can,” Princess Aracelle replied. “I will call you Erica as well.”

The princess knew Erica was the first lady who got engaged to Zion. This also meant her position as the Main Wife was already set in stone. If the former wished to stay by his side, she would need to get Erica’s approval first.

“I don’t like beating around the bush, so can you tell me what kind of relationship you have with Zion?” Erica inquired.

“For now, we have a master and servant relationship,” Princess Aracelle replied. “But I want to become his consort as well.”

She had done her research about Zion’s lovers and discovered that Erica had a straightforward personality.

With this in mind, she decided to directly tell her end goal. She believed matching the other party’s frankness would likely gain her recognition.

“You want to become Zion’s consort?” Erica smirked. “Can I talk to you in private?”

“Okay,” Princess Aracelle nodded and followed the Sorceress to the other room.

Shana was very curious about what the two girls would talk about, but since she was spending some precious moments with Zion, she decided to focus on making her lover feel better instead.

——

In the other room…

“How did he do it?” Erica asked with great curiosity. “How did Zion make you fall for him?”

Princess Aracelle hesitated, but when she saw Erica’s “don’t you dare lie to me” gaze, the young lady could only sigh in her heart.

“He plucked all of my feathers,” Princess Aracelle said reluctantly. “And he did it with such expertise that it sent shivers down my spine. He taunted me with words, humiliated me with them, and in the end, I begged him to stop and show mercy on me.

“But he didn’t listen to me. He didn’t stop until all my precious feathers lay beside my feet. However, when I thought that his torture had finally come to an end, all my feathers grew back again with the snap of his finger.

“He then repeated doing the same thing over and over again until I could no longer take it and gave him my true name.”

It was an unspoken rule for those who carried the bloodline of House Pavareth that they must never tell their true names to anyone.

They were the descendants of the Moon Feather Phoenix.

And their names bound them to others, just like how the Moon Feather Phoenix once served a person whom it had treated as its Master thousands of years ago.

Princess Aracelle’s bloodline was purer than most, and for some reason, her body was reacting very strongly to Zion after he had stripped her of her pride and arrogance.

It was as if she had awakened to her true self, and the person who made that possible was none other than Zion Leventis.

He had not only plucked her feathers, but plucked her heart in the process as well.

But House Pavareth had another secret.

Once they had given their first name to someone, they would bind themselves to that person with the string of fate.

And in exchange for their loyalty and servitude, that person would no longer be able to harm them.

It was similar to a Master and Servant contract, but the Master could never mistreat their servant and throw them away after they were no longer useful to them.

The binding was a lifetime commitment, and from now on, Princess Aracelle only existed to help Zion Leventis to the best of her abilities.

Although she wouldn’t want to do it, if Zion were to order her to betray her family, she would have no choice but to do it, for her fate was in the palm of his hands.

Truth be told, Princess Aracelle was worried about this in the past and had told Zion her worries.

However, the young man told her that he had no intention of using her to betray her family.

He even made a blood oath with the princess to ensure that she would no longer doubt him.

Perhaps it was also for that reason that the proud princess had surrendered herself to him in both heart and body.

That oath alone made her understand that the person whom she had sworn servitude to still had principles.

Erica knew that Zion had a cruel side. But she also knew he would never show this side to her, Sherry, or Shana.

His cruelty seemed exclusive to his enemies, all of whom he would not hesitate to torture to death if he was in the mood for it.

“Did you tell Zion that you wanted to become his consort?” Erica inquired.

“No.” Princess Aracelle shook her head. “But since he was there when I made my declaration earlier, he now knows I wish to stay by his side.”

“I see.” Erica narrowed her gaze. “You sure are a very ambitious princess.”

“I have envisioned myself as a future Queen,” Princess Aracelle said. “And I have the ability to do that. But my confidence is misplaced now after Zion dragged me down from my pedestal and threw me in the mud for me to know my place.”

Erica nodded. “Since you are truthful, then I will be truthful to you as well. We don’t really want to share our man with another woman. Our bed isn’t that big.”

Princess Aracelle listened calmly to Erica’s words because she had already expected something like this to happen.

“However, if you manage to make Shana and Sherry agree, then I will also give you my blessing,” Erica stated. “I don’t know about Zion, but the moment he recognizes you as his lover, he will do his best to protect you from harm, just like what he did for us recently.”

Erica then raised her hand and showed her ring to the Princess.

“Do you know why Zion got sick? He worked very hard to make four rings,” Erica said. “He gave three of them to us, and the fourth one is meant for Tiona. If not for these rings, that bastard Prince Zorren might have succeeded in his plan to kidnap us.”

Looking at the ring in the Sorceress’ hand, Princess Aracelle couldn’t help but feel envious of her.

That alone was proof of his undying commitment to the ladies, whom he had recognized as his women.

“I don’t know what kind of plans Zion has for the future.” Erica sighed. “He only tells us what we need to know. But that is enough. I’m sure that he also has plans for you.”

The Sorceress then moved closer and used her index finger to lift Princess Aracelle’s chin, making her look straight at her eyes.

In the past, the Princess would have definitely slapped Erica for the act of touching her without permission.

But she understood that this was the Sorceress’ way of making her understand that if she wanted to become Zion’s consort, she would need to get her approval first.

“Do your best to convince Shana and Sherry,” Erica said. “You are free to use any method as long as it doesn’t involve threats and hurting them through physical, emotional, and spiritual means.

“Oh, you have to convince Tiona as well. She is overly protective of Zion, so unless you get her approval, you might just find yourself getting bitten by the most venomous snake in Solterra.”

After saying those words, the young lady left the room to see if Shana had already finished healing Zion.

Princess Aracelle didn’t follow her right away and instead closed her eyes to calm herself.

She was now given a chance to be recognized by Zion’s lovers.

As to how she would manage to win them over, she would have to rely on her own ability so that she could pursue the man who made a future Queen kneel in submission.
