Reborn into Naruto World with Tenseigan
Chapter 1106: You should have killed me!The moment Sasuke’s three tomoe morphed into the complex six-pointed star pattern, the Genjutsu he was trapped in shattered like a mirror breaking into countless pieces. Simultaneously, a purple chakra surged from his body, forming a ribbed cage around him, with an arm extending from the structure that lashed out at Raijin.
“Susano’o?” Raijin murmured in surprise. He quickly released his choking grip on Sasuke and stepped back cautiously.
Boom!
Almost the instant Raijin retreated, Sasuke’s purple Susano’o arm slammed into the ground where Raijin had just stood, causing a loud crash. The impact left a deep crater, with rubble and smoke flying into the air.
Raijin, having narrowly dodged the blow, smirked under his mask and thought to himself, ‘Sasuke, this is as far as I can push you… mastering the power of the Mangekyō is now up to you.’ And under the cover of the dust cloud, he quickly weaved hand signs, summoning a Clone with the ‘Shadow Clone Jutsu!’
The Shadow Clone and the real Raijin exchanged a brief nod before one of them vanished from sight. Of course, the Shadow Clone was not dispersed into smoke rather it just wasn’t visible anymore.
In the midst of the smoke, Sasuke stood protected by his ribcage Susano’o, covering his eyes with his hands. He muttered, “It’s embarrassing to have made everyone so worried… especially that idiot Naruto!” He let out a small laugh at his own expense and lowered his hands from his face. “So, this is what the Mangekyō Sharingan feels like…?”
He turned toward the stands, looking at his parents with his newly awakened Mangekyō Sharingan, its brilliance glowing intensely. “Tou-san, Kaa-san, I… I…” He faltered, his words catching in his throat, and shook his head. His gaze shifted to Itachi, standing outside the Four Purple Flame Formation, and with a surge of determination, he thought, ‘Nii-san… I have finally surpassed you.’
As Sasuke gazed at the world through his newly awakened Mangekyō Sharingan, Raijin, now standing alone, quietly admired the transformation. Another pair of Mangekyō Sharingan had been awakened, “This makes three now, doesn’t it?” he thought to himself with pride and satisfaction in his eyes.
As if sensing Raijin’s gaze, Sasuke shifted his attention from Itachi. His eyes, now colder and filled with murderous intent, locked onto Raijin.‘Looks like I may have pushed him a bit too far,’ Raijin thought, feeling the intensity of Sasuke’s killing intent. Being targeted by the Mangekyō Sharingan wasn’t a pleasant sensation. ‘But then again, if I hadn’t, Sasuke might not have awakened these eyes so soon… oh well.’ He shrugged off the thought.
Sasuke, his voice ice-cold, declared, “Raijin, you should have killed me when you had the chance. But your arrogance cost you that one opportunity.”
Raijin chuckled in response. “Haha… is that what you think, boy?”

VIP Seating Area
When Sasuke’s striking purple ribcage of the Susano’o suddenly appeared in the arena, the daimyo of the five nations gasped in surprise. While this wasn’t the first time they had witnessed Susano’o—having previously seen it during Uchiha Fugaku’s battle with Hatake Kakashi—it was still a shocking sight to behold.
The five Kage weren’t much calmer.
The Sandaime Tsuchikage floated into the air, his face filled with astonishment.
The Yondaime Raikage’s mouth hung open, disbelief clear in his expression.
Even the Godaime Hokage, ‘Kuroto,’ who had maintained a composed demeanor, suddenly stood up from his seat, his excitement evident. The joy on his face was unmistakable, and in his heightened state, even his aura became somewhat chaotic. If everyone’s attention hadn’t been fixed on Sasuke in the arena, the fact that he isn’t Kuroto, but Itachi using a transformation Jutsu to pretend to be Kuroto might have been revealed.
The Godaime Kazekage murmured in awe, “I never imagined we’d witness the awakening of a Mangekyō Sharingan today.”

At the elders’ table in the VIP area
Elder Hiruzen watched the awakening of yet another pair of Mangekyō Sharingan within the village, his expression filled with complex emotions.
Beside him, Elder Koharu let out a heavy sigh. The constant emergence of geniuses within the Uchiha clan left her, as a senior member of the Hokage faction, feeling increasingly powerless.

Konohagakure Waiting Room
Haruno Sakura pointed at the purple ribcage surrounding Sasuke, her expression blank with confusion. “What is that?”
Her teammate, Shino, responded calmly, “It’s Susano’o.”
Sakura, still surprised, asked, “How do you know?”
“It’s common knowledge, Sakura-chan,” Sai interjected.
“Eh? Really?” Sakura seemed taken aback, turning her attention back to the arena, clearly unfamiliar with Susano’o.
Both Shino and Sai exchanged puzzled looks, wondering to themselves, ‘Didn’t she watch the battle between Sasuke’s father and Kakashi-sensei?’
Meanwhile, Naruto, Mika, and the others were equally shocked by the sudden change in the arena. “Sasuke awakened the Mangekyō Sharingan?” They were well aware of the Mangekyō Sharingan’s fearsome power.
Kiyomi was excited, ‘Itachi-nii-san was right! Sasuke-nii really awakened it!’
Neji’s expression darkened. ‘The Mangekyō Sharingan?’ He clenched his fist, uncertainty swirling in his heart. He had been confident of facing Sasuke before, armed with his newly mastered Destruction Jutsu technique. But now, with Sasuke’s awakening of the Mangekyō Sharingan, Neji wasn’t so sure anymore.
Not far away, Jiraiya and Tsunade exchanged glances, surprise evident in both their eyes.
They had always known Sasuke’s talent was extraordinary, that he was destined for greatness. But neither had expected his potential to be so immense that he would awaken the Mangekyō Sharingan during the Chunin Exam, catapulting him into the realm of Kage-level combat power.
Of course, they understood that Sasuke had only just awakened the Mangekyō Sharingan—it didn’t mean he was already as strong as a Kage. However, they both knew that now, with this newfound power, it wouldn’t be long before Sasuke mastered it and reached that level.
‘Kage class at 13?’ thought Jiraiya. ‘What kind of prodigy is this? Is he another Uchiha Shisui?’
The Jōnin instructors shared similar thoughts. Asuma couldn’t help but exclaim, “This… how is this possible? Sasuke is only 13 years old! Another Uchiha Shisui?”
Shizune sighed, “As expected of the Uchiha Clan’s genius!”
As Sasuke’s mentor, Kakashi had a sudden realization when he saw Sasuke awaken his Mangekyō Sharingan. His gaze immediately shifted toward Sasuke’s parents in the stands.
Uchiha Fugaku sat with a stoic expression, though his eyes betrayed his suppressed pride. Meanwhile, Mikoto’s joy was so overwhelming that tears streamed down her face.
“There’s more joy on their faces than shock or surprise,” Kakashi noted, instantly picking up on the key detail. ‘They knew this would happen… they expected this.’
…
Kimimaro sighed softly, “I didn’t expect Uchiha Sasuke to have such potential. Orochimaru-sama was right to favor him.”
Guren, staring at Sasuke’s Susano’o in a daze, remarked, “So this is the Susano’o of the Uchiha Clan? It really carries a heavy sense of oppression.”
Haku nodded in agreement, “If Sasuke had these eyes during the second exam, it would’ve been hard for us to make it out unscathed.”
Kimimaro shook his head, his gaze fixed on Haku. “Haku, you could have killed him even now, couldn’t you?”
Haku quickly waved his hands, “How could that be? Uchiha Sasuke seems too strong.”
“No need to downplay your strength, Haku,” Kimimaro said calmly. “You surpassed me long ago. If you’d been decisive during the second phase, Sasuke would be dead by now.”
Haku opened his mouth to deny it, but Guren cut in, “It’s alright, Haku… we understand. You don’t need to say anything more.”
With Guren’s words, Haku sighed and fell silent.
…
On the other side, Orochimaru, who had been calm and expectant, now wore a frozen expression of shock. “How… how could this happen?!”
Even when Naruto had used the Pseudo Jinchuriki Mode and unleashed five tails, Orochimaru remained composed. But now, witnessing Sasuke awaken the Mangekyō Sharingan left him visibly rattled.
Orochimaru was well aware that Uchiha Fugaku and Uchiha Itachi had both awakened the Mangekyō Sharingan, and he had high expectations for Sasuke. However, like everyone else, he hadn’t anticipated that Sasuke would suddenly awaken those eyes today. Regret washed over him as he realized he should have acted decisively to abduct Sasuke during the second phase of the exam.
…
At the Arena
The appearance of Susano’o instantly ignited the enthusiasm of all the spectators in the stands, and their cheers surged like an overwhelming wave throughout the venue.
Amidst the deafening applause, Sasuke spoke coldly, “As a reward for helping me awaken the Mangekyō Sharingan, Raijin, I will do my best to leave you with a complete corpse…”
“Hahaha… you talk funny…”
